  1. I just looked....there is currently no world record holder for smallest milled aluminum engine. =P
  2. The weather has not been on my side for painting enamel. Hopefully, I'll get the silver sprayed this week and the blue on Saturday. Meanwhile I've been adding some detail to the little parts while I wait.
  3. Pardon me while I pick my jaw up off the floor. Amazing work of art Bill!
  4. Oh, I got ya!
  5. Oohh that's a beautiful color! Love it!
  6. Looking great Brian! Can we get a close up of the quarter window covers you made?
  7. Thanks Colin. I'm trying to make it better then what it started out as. Hey look, my plant is growing car parts...
  8. LMAO that's awesome. Edit: The LMAO was for the bobble-head type driver. Big head and smaller body. I think it's great.
  9. A couple progress pics... More to come later.
  10. I'll check SRI Hobbies (local store) after a couple more paychecks.
  11. Cool, thx for the links Jonathan. BTW, I do have a full time job but my 3 kids suck up all my money like a Hoover. I'll have to save up for this one...=P I'm wanting to turn it into one of those "Need for Speed" type of cars... =)
  12. LOL I would, but I don't have the $60 to spend at the moment. I just thought I'd share my dream . haha
  13. I want this... http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/tam/tam24308.htm
  14. Is it the flip hood that's the major problem with the kit?
  15. So far, just scraping flash... BUT..OMG there is a TON of flash! I feel like I'll be at this for the better part of the Winter.
  16. If you need some custom "up close" pics of anything, just let me know. I drive a 2013 Pete day cab and have access to 2004 KW's and International.
  17. Look sick! Watching this one.
  18. OK, so I learned a valuable lesson recently. I put waaaaay too much primer on the car and now I'm finding myself sanding off the little details. GRR Oh well, I'll use this model to get back in the swing of things and learn from those mistakes. Hopefully my next one ('57 Corvette) will be much better. Windshield vents now missing detail. Mock window vents sanded flat. body lines above the door nearly sanded away.
  19. The detail of that interior is just awesome Andy. LOL it almost looks like the real deal.
  20. Nothing short of amazing work. I only wish I had the skill to think of taking modeling to this extreme. Watching this one...
  21. Messing around with engine possibilities and I stole the blower and manifold from another kit (AMT 1953 Ford Flipnose). Should I leave the Shelby box stock or add the blower? Box stock kit Different views with blower.
  22. Got the Shelby all stripped, puttied, sanded and should be back in primer tomorrow.
