  1. Thanks for the kind words guys. I do agree with you Flatbed, I checked Hank's and I do not think I found a single Astro in CF livery in any of the (1000?) photos he has. To be honest, I picked CF mainly because I know I have a set of decals from the doubles trailer somewhere in this mess of a workshop and hope to find them eventually.
  2. Thanks guys. I have always liked the day cab look. Guess now that length limits are not such an issue, day cabs (and COE's in general) are becoming more and more rare.
  3. O.k. I figured it out. http://upload7.postimage.org/355725/models011.jpg' alt='models011.jpg'>
  4. I finished this model the same time as I did the GMC. I was inspired by Los Angeles City Fire Department's Peterbilt/Century wrecker. I cut down the AMT body sides and added scratch-built compartments as well as adding a few other fire truck looking goodies. I still need to come up with a plan of how I want to letter it. Thanks. http://upload7.postimage.org/355636/models002.jpg' alt='models002.jpg'>
  5. Not sure yet how to post multiple pics, so I'm going to try this way.
  6. This Is the first model I have completed in several years. I have always liked the more utilitarian looking trucks. I did take some inspiration from Twist67's A.T.L. rig, as well as several years of seeing those cool looking shorty/day cabs running the New York State Thruway. Thanks for looking.
  7. Dave, you've inspired me to get back to work my K-100 (AMT). For me, the thing that seems to sideline me the most is what I want it to be when I'm done. I have bounced between if I want it to be a "BJ and the Bear" tractor or possibly a "bed-bugger" rig. Your rig is looking great! I can't wait to see more.
  8. This is my first post. I decided here was best as there seems to be some fellow upstaters here. Johnny, those colors are perfect together. They put me in mind of of Cletus Snow's W900 from the first "Bandit" film. Brinx (anyone seen my gloves?)
