started on a revell / monogram 1969 dodge charger r/t ..
the plan is to do it a bit like the restomods .. i will use the kit engine and leave that stock ..
but the idea is to build it as close to stock body wise but change a few things so it will have that more modern feel without anything sticking out
weird build plan it looks like they want you to put the taillights against the back but imo they need to sit like this from behind ..
first i flattened the whole bottom of the rear bumper so the bottom line is straight
then sanded of the chrome .. not bothered to dechrome because i will sand a lot of material of the rear bumper anyway and reshape it
because i wanted flush seems and the seem below the bumper is very wide on a real dodge i placed it against the bottom .. that way the recess for the lisense plate on the bumper met up with the ongoing recess in the bottom splash pan ...
the made it all flat so the bumper was flush with the splash pan and didnt stick out the sides , platicwelded some styrene on the top
