gently dryfitted the new grille , sides of the grille are blacked out .. it will sit deeper but i dont want to ruin it at this point so just loosely on there .. the refs of the grille are cool then placed the hood and whouw

thnx guys !!!! and bob yes that is how it comes out of the can .. no polish and well i wont polish it after all there is just no need at all .. i also didnt polish the body before clear , afraid i would rub of the black .. i have to be hounest these cans are like magic , cheap and they spray so good and i never had orange peel .. never .. this paint doesnt matter what color always sprays 100% flat .. and the chrome i do is the same brand and silver that turns out a bit chrome lik .. not real chrome off-course but ... so thats kind of why istill didnt go airbrush ... i would have to buy colors , put them in spray , clean everything ... i'm a bit to lazy for that or more like hmmzzzz but one day i will have to go and try my airbrush ... because truth is when i want to start and use real crazy colors there is no substitute for the airbrush ... anyway just took some pictures outside and well ...pffftt i took it out of the cubbord and went ooh yes .. went outside and all the stuff just hit the paint , the sky and ..... when its on the wheels i think the sides also will look even better then you will have the ground surface hitting the body and reflect , that also is rounded so i recon that will give nice efefcts also i just love how the body lines get accentuated by the light hitting the body and luckely teh pannellines and the depth of them is spot on .. great effect with those breaking the reflection now i want to be patient .. already can toutch the paint and its hard but i'm afraid if i would hold it and apply pressure i will ruin it .. so i def. will let it harder for a while .... and finished the scratched aircleaner , the stuff in between is cloth electrical tape

rattle can from a diy market

thnx !!! my best result ever .. zero orange peel , its like glass ... and the reflections are breathtaking , sorry to say myself but i was soo happy with the result !! tomorrow i will take pics in the daylight these are in the dark and in daylight with maybe the sky as reflection outside i think then it will show much better .. also then in daylight you will see the bodylines better first on this pic you kind of can see that its real smooth used the pc screen as lightsource .. a bit like they do in car factorys to inspect the paint for imperfections so yes i'm a happy camper right now !! cant waight to put on all the chrome

yes i have a airbrush set up .. and never used it .. bought it second hand from a guy i know , big compressor with everything on and a badger airbrush and a lot of extra's ... i want to try it this summer and spray in the shed ... but i also swear by rattle cans .. and these are from a diy market and are awsome .. always a great result .. you know what is funny that i didnt know .. so extra cool , thnx btw cool info !!!

well already sprayed the clear .. cant show just did it .. i came home from work set everything up and sprayed it ... all rattle can paint btw the black and the clear also ...

got a new grille from a corvette m, the previous wheels hmm the chrome came loose and there was red under it .. lousy quality .. so i found some moondisc like hubcaps that shine like a mirror .. theyt where to flat and i found some cool shiney certers from a set of rims and put those on the moons .. and got a custom hubcap now when all the chrome is on and the clear coat i think that will really pop .. i almost would leave it semi gloss .. pretty cool like that .. but i will put on clear just because then those lines aremuch more accentuated and i think it will look even better

aww thnx !! cool you like it .. one day i want to start with something fresh , this one was build up by rebuilding a already build model .. i have looked at a lot of salt racers and i think there are still a lot of cool racer styles to build
