  1. hahaha well thats just a way i developed myself and this workes great for me , i will sand it , spray it all one base color , in this case black and hand paint all the div. colors and lots of chrome .. did this on a lot of other builds as well .. i just like to work this way hihi no problem sometimes you can even make deep dish rims from one rim just say it and turn the insert around .. one thing you need to do then is create a thinner lip the primer dryed , going to sand and spray it tomorrow
  2. made a distributer and wires rough work on the "nose" made a radiator , fan and hoses , the noce is now bondo-ed waighting for a good sand job the bottom will be longer so its a tad above the ground wet primer just sprayed it .... then i will sand it and spray the whole lot black and go in with some color and chrome and make all the details pop
  3. very rough still but altered the linkage to the scoop and butterflyes , also a thin iron rod now , added a gasscable and fuelline thos chevy shapes on the side of the bed i made templates so after paint i can make silver inserts there cables running over the tranny into the cab
  4. whouw just perfect !!!!!!!!!!
  5. hmm nice !!
  6. thnx and wel yes its going along very nice only build for like a hour a day .... started on the throttle linkage with linkage to the intake scoop i really drilled holes so if you look inside the scoop you see the round brass tubes flush with the bottom , cant get that on a picture but now i have to make butterfly flaps ... in here and man thats tiny .. i think my best option is to look for 3 round things that are the right size already must be out there , maybe in the partsboxes and if not i will look around the house hahaha
  7. thnx carl added a steering rod and stacks on the carbs i liked that betetr then a scoop , will ad fuellines , gauge , linkage and the choice > either i keep the front open no radiator or shell or i do something like this
  8. and after the last update took some sidepipes and cut the ends of and glued them on the headers , with some slver and black inside the hole that will really look cool , made them so they are facing up
  9. chassis almost done ... primered cab and ride hight dry fit

  13. brrrr awsome stuff
  14. cool and looking super smooth already !!
  15. thnx ! started on the front suspension , went for the leaf spring suspended ..... oh and for the purists its a chevy front axle with a ford leaf spring ... i know some may go nuts and thinking its sacrilege .. well its just stuff i think looks cool and it so happens to be chevy and ford parts mixed up hahahaha "bad mariage" hehe only need to make the bars from the axle to the chasis i tried every combination of wheels and i have enough choise , already was thinking nothing would work , it just didnt look right in the front earea ... untill i tried these thinking they would not look good and whow perfect proportions and look hacked up some rim backs made a gass tank , and the fun part is the words mean nice hey ? .. that was not done on purpose i sawed a pen to pieces and glued the end caps on and then saw that hahahaha
  16. thnx guys started on the chassis , engine in , driveshft and some struts from the axle to the chassis , still rough / start dryfit this is how i want to put the body on like the example rod i showed , a bot of rake in the body and bed ...
