Gotta say, that Pete you're working on, Terry is pretty awesome looking....Those Italeri dumpers have some great potential.....If they weren't so proud of them, I'd have a few more....I only have one, but I just may have to break down and get another..... And, Dennis, I can't get over how much talent you have......From your first build, I've watched you turn out awesome model after awesome model....Amazing, Dude..... And, what a model, Mark.....Just an amazing piece of work.... And don't even let me get started, Clayton.....It's amazing how similar our building styles are.....Big fan of your work, Man.....Big fan.... I've built a few, myself.... -

Although it's slated for the youngster, it looks pretty cool....I like the way you've got it all laid out.....Very cute with the window and the little figures and such.....I like that stake bed on the back of there.....Gives me some more ideas..... -
No worries, Dave....I don't really mind....I finally got some time in on this baby..... Frame assembly was a little challenging....The steering threw me a few curve balls, but I, eventually, got it together.....All the parts numbering can be daunting, until you realize most of them are identical.....Not sure why they were numbered like that, but oh well.....You definitely don't want to tackle a kit like this without some building experience under your belt.... Well, the tank that went missing was fabbed up using some 1/4" rod and some flat plastic I had laying around.... The tabs for the steering pieces are way too short to heat sear, so I cued the MacGyver music and set to work...... I grabbed my trusty hole punch and made some disks out of some really thin plastic..... And this is what happened.....I wish I had something else a little smaller to punch with, but after painting, it won't be noticed..... After test fitting the tie rods, my alignment was a "bit" off.....So I had to make some new ones...... The finished product...... Now, it's on to trying to figure out how I'm going to go about painting this monster....

That is a cool presentation of the evolution of that yard....Awesome....Let me see what I can do with those first 2.....I only used Windows Live Photo Gallery.....Came with my 4 year old computer, but it works pretty good...... Man, that first one was pretty tough....That's about as good as I could get it....But, at the very least, it looks better.....

That's a pretty sharp build, Man.....Great looking truck....The Italeri wheels and tires look WAY better than the kit's.....Awesome.... I'm thinking a load of bricks or some bags of concrete would look good on there...... -

Oh, Man....Glad you're still kicking....This bad boy looks good....The AMT rims and tires, actually look good, too....And it looks awesome lowered, like that.....Oh, and the stacks.....Man, this would look good in orange......I think I have a new idea.....

I hate it when people do that.....Because, we all know what they did......Just drives the prices up for all of us honest folk.....I'm glad it worked out for you, though.....I've made a few purchases like that, before, as well...You can get some pretty good stuff thataway......I think they know the guy is scamming, but they don't really want to make that "customer" angry.....Oh well....Such is life.... -
Oh, Man....I, totally, know how that goes.....I don't know how many paint jobs I screwed up because of my impatience....But....I've also gotten lucky a few times.....So, I can sympathize with you.....Those decals do look pretty good, too....Your idea is sound, and it flows with the truck, very well....I love it.....It's gonna look great when you do finally get it right....Great job.....I see where you're going with it and it looks awesome.....

Yep....You can pick one of the Newray trucks with excavator for about $25.....It's a generic digger, but it can be made to look like a Cat or whatever.....Very nicely done for the price..... -
