That's an excellent score, Clayton.....I traded a tanker off a couple of years back.....Can't say I really miss it, though......It was a pain in the buttocks........Just got another Lonestar in the mail, yesterday, to go along with my next project, though......Still working on the Simba kit, but it's proving difficult to get to, lately.....It's been a little hot in the garage.......Oh, well....Gotta get back to work.....

I noticed as soon as I saw this model.....The battery box and fuel tank was a good swap.....Also narrowing of the tow body has worked well, too.....Amazing how changes as minor as these change the look of the entire model.....This looks so much better than the original.....A beautiful piece of work.....Just beautiful....

Nice work on this baby....You just reminded me.......I have one of these around here, somewhere, that, totally needs a rebuild......You've done a nice job with this.....The addition of the bmf on the trim looks great.....I like this one.....Makes me want to go out and snag that Ford Expedition police snapper that's out.....Nice work on the step bars, too.....Somebody, actually painted them to match the truck.....

What a great idea....Looks great with those commercial wheels.....I like the lowering at the front.....That looks awesome.....

They, actually, used to sell some BSG stuff for a while.....I can see what they have against the monster kits, but like you said, why not just stock NON monster kits.....If that's the concern, I do believe AMT and Polar Lights have some monster kits, as well as Monogram, if I'm not mistaken.....Some things can be taken a little too far.....I'm a follower of The Lord, Jesus, as well, but I still dig Sci-Fi......Not sure what the deal is, there.....And why not, at least, stock some AMT trailers while you're at it....Again, they used to.....What happened, there?? Shelf space, perhaps.....No clue..... Oh, yeah....Just picked up one of those C-600 kits on clearance that we were supposed to be talking about, btw.....

I'm with Tim on that tanker you have....I have a couple of those in the stash, and it's given me a couple of ideas as well..... Amazing, the amount of unfinished business you have......Where do you keep them all?? I have a problem finding room for my completed projects......

The paint and graphics really do look good on this rig......I'd, also love to see some more shots of this one....Your cuts and lines look very precise....Love to see how you do that.......I've considered lighting one of mine up, as well......

I know I'd be interested in this, for sure.....I guess my only "concern" is that if we did have 20 or so entrants, and obviously if you entered you would vote for your own, so I'm with the no entrant voting thing; but.....Who would be left to vote?? Maybe I'm not counting right, but I really only see about that amount post, regularly...... LOL !!! Guess we'd have to go over to the "Cars" side and see if we could get some guys from there.....

I'm with you, there, Mike....Houston area Hobby Lobby's haven't gotten the Mack DM 600's in, yet.....Since I've been hearing others have gotten them, I'm holding out to use a 40% off on a couple when they do.....Can't wait.....I just love that store.....

That is a cool looking rig you got there, Douglas.....Not a cracker box, but it's close.....If you're tall, I don't imagine this would be the rig for you....Doesn't look very comfortable......Purpose built, for sure.....

That would have probably been a good idea.....I didn't think about that one.....Of course the hole punch was probably faster, but slicing up some rod could have worked out nicely.....
