I wouldn't mind having a set of drives and some two hole rims and tires for a trailer....If the price is right, I wouldn't have to cannibalize any of my other 1/16th scale kits.....

I consider every suggestion as pointing me in the right direction to building a better model......All that business under the hood and along the chassis is a little foreign to me.....As I don't drive......I only observe and record......And I most certainly don't claim to know it all......So feel free to explain, complain, or suggest whatever......I welcome it...... You know, Buddy....As far as the trailer is concerned, don't fret.......The snap KW 900 would be right about the same era.....In which case the truck would be easier to assemble than the trailer.....And at $20, you can't lose.....Get on it, Man.... Here's a snap KW I stretched and added a drom to, just to show what's possible with that kit.....$20 and some extra plastic....Really, cheaper than that, as I used a 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby.....I did use 2 KW kits for the fenders, though....

Nothing ordinary about this build, Man.....Very skillful piece of work.....Your cuts for your I beams and such are amazing....Those are tough to get consistent.....And the weathering is spot on.....Beautiful, Man....

Thanks, Sean....I appreciate you chiming in....I'm telling you.....Yesterday was an awesome day....Conditions were "perfect"......Paint went on as smooth as can be......We don't get days like that, often...... I did make the bumper....Should fit a might nice like..... I'm working on the drive shaft and such, right now.....I was thinking about that....I guess I should seriously consider it, huh....??

Hey, Sean....Man, that came out good.....Really good.....The colors, actually flow real nice....Works for me.....And it looks great with that single drive, and I'm lovin' them mudflaps, Dude....That adds some serious flavor to it....Nice...

Thanks a lot, Guys....I appreciate your kindness.....I've NEVER built one of these, before, for some reason.....As AMT kits go, it's pretty good, so far......Can't say I've had too many issues with it.....I did scratch build the flatbed.....Nothing too difficult.....A piece of .060" flat plastic cut into a scale 24' bed and some diamond plate up front, some wood and Bingo....You got yourself a flatbed....Managed to get some paint applied....Barely made it....Yesterday was a BEAUTIFUL day, here is Spring.....70 plus degrees, outside with low humidity.....It doesn't get too much better for painting, here in Houston....Right, Dan?? As this morning will attest....Fog and humidity are back....But here is what I got....

Finally figured out what to build, next.....I thought I'd build a variation of a flat bed truck I see a lot of around here.....Except this one will be a DR and painted orange, of course.......As I'm not a fan of the Mercury sleeper, I ditched it in favor of an old sleeper I cut from a snap Pete 359.....I think it will look better for this one......Anyways, here's what I got, so far.....
