Looking awesome, Man.....Excellent work on the wheels and tires.....That looks cool.... -
Got the interior done, now....Just like last time, I cut out the top to give a better view of the very well appointed interior......I didn't use the provided decals for this one, this time, though.....It was faster to paint it, as that was what the model in the instructions had done, and I think it ended up looking good enough........ Got a little touching up to do, but, I'm good with it.....

That looks pretty good as a tanker yanker....Great work on the truck.....That's a beautiful paint job.....Makes me want to get another T-600 going....Awesome work.... -
Aww, Man....Thanks guys.....I consider it a privilege for you to view my work as a reference......That's why I post stuff.....Thanks again, guys......Glad to help..... Be advised, though.....Where I cut it seems to be the only place to cut without disturbing the placement of all the peripherals....I think the only thing you have to modify is the drive shaft, but that's not too hard, as with this cut, you don't disturb the mounting point of the forward end of it.....Should connect up to the engine as kitted..... Hope that helps rather than hinder......

That's a good looking truck.....Glad you posted it for us, Man.....Very nice work on the paint scheme.....Man, that looks good.....Flows real nice.....If you get good tires out of the box, those models really look good..... -

Moebius Lonestar
kilrathy10 replied to checkmate's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
You've got a pretty good start, already.....Frame looks good.....I think the only real issue with this model is the instructions......They're pretty vague, at times.....The plumbing for the air intake is completely missing.....Not a single reference....Pictures or otherwise.....The Prostar instructions are much better and can be used as a guideline....I suggest you go on and open up that Prostar and take a gander at those......Also, you can download the Lonestar instructions from Revell's website......They're in traditional Revell style, but much better.....If you use them both, then you'll probably fair better..... I just had a thought....If you live in Australia, then you probably bought the Revell setup, anyway.....Never mind.... -
I believe the Raptor is going to do well, but with the 2015 Ford F-150's coming out, I'm not sure why they bothered.....Don't get me wrong, the Raptor is a cool truck, and I'm sure to get a few....I'm a Ford guy, as well, and, as you can see, I live in Texas.....Lots of Raptors down here....I went to the car show earlier this year and the 2015 looks TOTALLY different.....For the better, by the way......Those things are gonna sell like crazy.....They're awesome.....That's one I'd like to see modeled.....

I got another one of these babies going......I started it a couple of weeks ago, but never could get into the groove, for some reason, but I've found new life.....Not sure why it's like that, but anyway......I've, once again stretched the frame a little bit.....Only one inch, as that's all that's needed.....As I've said, before, it's too short out of the box.....Just a plain Jane metallic blue, but Man, this is a good kit...... I really like this engine.....As with the Lonestar, it just fits so well into the chassis, you almost don't even have to glue it in.....
