  1. Very nice work, so far....I like the way you integrated the air ride suspension....That looks really good.....
  2. Already looking good, man....Those blackouts should make it look pretty awesome....
  3. This is a great looking model.....And I'm not saying that because it's orange, either.....I really like the grill, Man....Awesome work on that guard, too....And that weathering....Too much awesomeness to mention....
  4. Just beautiful, John....Just beautiful.....I like the chains on the frame....And that drop looks awesome....
  5. Looks good....Nice and high....Good weathering, too....
  6. Man, that's a pretty good looking snapper....I really like that bug shield....The flaps, visor, and the ac unit look awesome, too...But that Bug Shield....Man, I'm liking that....
  7. Yep...I agree with using styrene....I've never gotten very good results with putty....Not saying bondo and other stuff is a bad idea, but I did used to take Testors liquid glue and cut up old sprues into little 1/8" pieces and dropping a bunch of them in half a bottle's worth....After about 24 hours, you have a plastic putty that you can reseal and use at any time.....
  8. You've got a good start....The hinges, as Clayton mentioned, are a bit frustrating when attaching them to the cab.....I believe the paint is interfering with proper fit....You don't notice it till you're trying to get it together.....And like Jessie said....A fresh perspective is always interesting.....I've built quite a few of these things, but I don't know everything, so I know I'll be watching, too....
  9. Good job, Man...That's a pretty large undertaking for your experience, and you've done a good job....Way to stick with it....Hope you had fun, enough to attempt more....
  10. Gonna be one fantastic piece of engineering....Great work on the mods....
  11. Excellent work, Man....Beautiful color and flames.....They work really well, together....
  12. Oh, yeah....Now that's what I'm talking about....Beautiful truck.....Just Beautiful....Love the hood....Now, that's how you hide a seam....
  13. This is one great looking model....Very nice work....Beautiful....Looks just right....
  14. Have fun with this one, Man....White with Metallic Blue, huh....Sounds good...
  15. That looks pretty awesome....I really like the decals and subtle weathering.....This was the inspiration prompting me to build my 378 car hauler....You really gave me some good ideas....What tractor you planning to use...???
  16. Check online for sign companies or plastics companies that cater to sign companies.....There's a place across town that I buy styrene from in 4'x8' sheets for, like, $20 each....I would imagine whatever big city is close to you ought to have one....
  17. It actually, looks great with that old car hauler....I was kind of surprised at how well it rides behind that old General....Not opposed to the idea of scratchbuilding one, though....
  18. Yep....But, for a glue bomb, it looks ok....Definitely a Mack, though.....
  19. Nice work....I don't think anybody would take you at a stop light....
  20. This is an EXCELLENT use of the decals from that new wrecker.....And I would have NEVER thought of using a snap kit to make a 379.....I know what my next kit is gonna be.....Very nice conversion, and I like the color scheme, too....
  21. Looks pretty cool like that....Have fun with this one....Shouldn't be too hard to figure out....
  22. That's a cool looking conversion....Very nice work on that grill....Very nice....And I like the closed roof modification.....Awesome....
  23. That's an amazing way of producing a model....They look, surprisingly, real.....Very nice....Never seen anything like that, before....
