Nice work, Man....I like the subtle weathering to the frame and engine....And the stripping of the chrome adds to it, too...I like that look....The pinstriping thing you got going on is a cool idea, too.... -

This is a pretty cool looking car....They'd a busted me easily with this one....Don't think I would ever have recognized this silhouette in the rear view....

He traded you all those trucks for 2 US trucks???? Wow!!!!! That's a pretty good score....That tri drive is RARE over here.... -
Dude, I really like your lift gate work....I never really knew how to approach that part of my trailer builds....I like this....I'm gonna have to "borrow" that one for my next trailer build....And I'm with you on the suspension....Doesn't really seem necessary when everyone is only gonna see the interior.....And thanks Jeremy for the "shout out"....

Check out martinfan5's thread out in the workbench section....He's got one going on, now....I've built a few, myself....You can check those out in the under glass section on several pages, but he's probably going for a little more detailed replication of an actual Featherlite trailer.....Also, there's another guy that built one that's pretty smokin', too....I'll chime back in when I find it....Both of them are recent posts.... I found it and brought it back to page one in the workbench section....Look for Dirt Demon's Scratchbuilt Featherlite post....It's very good....I thought I was doing something till I saw this one..... -

Oh, my bust, Man....I thought it was on my avatar....The name's JT Williams (Sgt. USMC).... -
I built this one about 15 years ago....Found this pic thumbing through some old photo albums.....I traded it for some stuff years ago.....I think this is the only remaining pic.....I made a working tilt bed for it, and everything....I can only imagine where it is, now....

Surprised...

You know, Guys....I'm also thinking price is something to think about, too.....With the both of them selling for the same price most everywhere I look, it just seems like you get more bang for the buck with the Lonestar.....I really, really like the Prostar, and am quite happy it's out (VERY HAPPY), but if you look at them side by side, you're probably gonna pick the Lonestar.......If it was, like, $10 cheaper, then that would all change, I'm sure.....And you're right, Scott....That kind of competition from your own works will be tough to beat.... Wouldn't mind seeing something new from KW, too.....Although, I was hoping for a T660 or T700, but a K200 would be just flat out AWESOME!!! -

KW W900 Aerodyne Snap tite 1:25
kilrathy10 replied to Pavel A.'s topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Pavel, I wouldn't say "without soul", as far Euro trucks go....I kinda wish they'd import some of those things....You guys have to pack so much into such a "small" amount of space.....By comparison..... I guess it would be hard to really "shake things up", but I think they do a pretty good job....I'd have to say my favorite truck, these days, is that new Volvo FH16...Or even that new Merc Actros....Man, those are cool looking trucks....For me, anyway..... -

Pavel....You got some MAD skills, Man....This truck is looking fantastic....I've never a snapper that looked more realistic than this one....Wow!!!!! This thing is NICE!!!!! -
Good work....Nice repaint....Just a plain Jane work van.....I like it....So many of those out there, still on the roads....Good stuff....

Looks pretty good to me....Especially for a "Rookie".....I've been building for years, and I don't even think about plumbing....You're off to a great start....Oh, and I find the best cameras can be had at the pawn shop for like, $30.....5 mega pixels or more, but the fewer the pixels, the faster it downloads.....
