This looks great, Man....I like this one.....Very nice work....At 1/10 scale there had to be a lot of work involved with scratching this out....Very nice... -

Awwww, Man....Why'd you shorten the frame???? Just kidding....I like to stretch frames, for some reason....I haven't found a reason to shorten a frame, yet....Not that I'm looking for one....This one is gonna look good.....You've gotten yourself a couple of highly sought after kits in the Big Rig modeling world....I wish you well on this one....Excellent work, so far....I like the red frame....And just like in fence building, if it looks right it IS right.....I do a lot of eyeballing in my work, as well....Makes things go a lot faster, too.....And the Lego box for glue bottles is an AWESOME tip.....I don't know why I never thought of it.....Wow!!!!! -
freightliner cabover

Now that's what I'm talking about....I absolutely love the stretch....Cab and chassis.....Great mods on this one....I know the next one of these I build will have the front axle mod, as well.....I was wondering what you were gonna follow that awesome 379 with.....Excellent work, so far....Maybe YOUR cab will sit level.... :D -
To be honest, Kostas, this isn't one of my best efforts at this type of paint job .....I needed to turn it upside down during the paint process, but I didn't secure the cab correctly...Unable to do this, gravity pulled more orange into the separation line than I would have liked.....Resulting in the current color separation.....Unfortunately, you gotta stop applying paint at some point to avoid drips and runs, so I left it that way.....I don't know how many paint jobs I've screwed up trying to make them "just a little bit better" ...It actually looks much better with the roof fairing in place, though..... But, I agree with you on your assessment..... And, Tom.....Lol....Don't worry....I put quite a bit of time in on it, today....Things look good....Stuff is going together as well as the Lonestar.....I really like these Moebius offerings, Man.....Can't wait to get back to it, tomorrow.....

Thanks, Don, but I don't use air brushes for this effect....I just use paint that has the directional nozzles like Duplicolor....Krylon has a line of paint that has these and it makes it very east to do.....You can do it with any spray paint, but it's harder.....I used a regular nozzle on the orange paint on my Lonestar.....Man, that was a task....But it came out good, though....

Nice work, already....That's really gonna look good..... -
Got it painted and ready to go.....I'm really diggin' these kits....It's much easier to put together than the Lonestar....Partly because of the improved instruction sheet, but mostly because of the experience gained by building the afore mentioned kit....I've had no problems up to this point..... :D

Wow, that's amazing....Poor old truck.....Makes me remember that old movie quote....."My dad's got an AWESOME set of tools....I can fix it"... Showing my age a bit, but some of y'all know which one I'm talking about.....Glad everyone's ok, though....Oh, and the model looks pretty cool, too....You did good....It seems like every time I buy a new vehicle, I get something that isn't produced by a model company.... -
Fascinating....This is one heck of a project you've got yourself here, Man.....Beautiful rework of the engine....Amazing work....

Oh, that looks cool, Man...I really like those rims.... -
Got the frame stretched....It only needed a little one....I plan on using the step boxes from the Lonestar kit....One on each side, though...It's gonna be a fleet truck, Sean, but it's gonna be MY fleet truck....I have a few scale million dollars to spend on my trucks.... Gotta keep the boys happy....
