That is a good use for those decals....This truck is a cool setup....I like the race car you put back there, too...You've also given me a few ideas for my own race car hauler...- 26 replies

Decal question

I don't know about the original issues, but I have an 80% partial set of the rerelease and they are, definitely, water slide decals.... -

Yeah, you can have orange/yellow and blue....Just not red.... Construction and Wreckers can use blue.... And, No Pavel, That's not a "mini me"....I'd have to cut all his hair off.... -

Looking good, so far, Man....Can't wait to see what you come up with.... -
Well, Boys....I finally got this thing done....Worked all day, and got it knocked out....These pics are the best I can do for today, but this weekend looks to be better weather....Definitely, gonna have to get some outside pics of this thing, then.... This one worked well without having to do anything to the frame, with the exception of cutting about 1/4" off the tail end to accommodate the tow body....I lowered it to settle over the wheels properly, as well.....I added some personal touches to the body and had to trim off a little off the back end of the chrome side fairings and everything fit right into place....To be honest, I was shocked that this plan actually came together as well as it did....Well, I could go on and on, but without further a due.....

Nice work, Man....I've never had much luck with these kits.....Not sure why, but this one is done very well....Nice paintwork....

Revell Challenger wrecker
kilrathy10 replied to richellis's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Oh, yeah....No problem....There's been lots of 1/24 scalers with this wrecker body....Shouldn't be a problem.....I don't think you'll have to make any mods to the 1/24 scale axles, either.....Should fit right over them..... -

Dude, that looks GREAT with that flat top sleeper..And that's how you stretch a truck....Man that looks good......I had a RG KW900 that got destroyed by an X girlfriend.....I don't know why I didn't keep the parts....I think I was just too angry, and tossed it.....Oh well....I really like those colors, Man.....I just might have to lease that thing out for my fleet, John .....That orange dash works.... Awesome..... -
I'll be all over this kit, if they put it out......I want one for my fleet.....Trust me.....I'll buy at least 3 of these.....At $60-$80, that will be all I can afford, but I would hope an American model company or two would take notice.....

Ford LN8000 Fire Truck 80% Done
kilrathy10 replied to csxfan2001's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
This is a great looking truck.....I don't recall this model....Is this something you came up with or a complete kit....Regardless, I like it a lot.....I may have to try my hand at something like this.....Excellent work, my friend.....And you can use shoe laces, as well....They have all sorts of colors, and you can pick them up just about any where.....But the model looks good by itself, too....Great job.... And you just got a comment from the famed Tim Ahlborn.... ....Your on your way, Man....
