  1. Very nice work....Your efforts are really paying off....I really like the fuel tank work and the battery boxes.....Your air cleaner looks awesome....Very nice fab work, Man....Very nice....I even like the color you chose....
  2. The colors do look pretty nice....I think you're on your way, now, Man....A very ambitious project....Something I don't think I'd ever attempt....The time required, alone, would negate my ever jumping into it....Hats off you you, Justin....And it would be down right Un American not to have an empty pizza box in the trash....Way to represent!!!!
  3. And as for where I put all these things when I'm done.....This is where it all begins and ends.....And, Man....I AM running out of room....
  4. Well, first of all, I'm sorry to hear about your trailer episode.....It's like that, sometimes.....I found the fit was quite good on mine.....A little bit of advice for longer parts is to use tube glue....A lot of people frown upon it, but it really works well for this, because it gives you more work time.....Just take your time and make sure the sides are ALL the way in the slots....And believe it or not, there is a top and a bottom to them.....Look at the instructions very carefully and you'll see it....That, also may have been the problem.....This is the best trailer kit I've ever assembled, so if I were you, I'd give it another go....I hope this helps, and thanks for your kind thoughts on my project.....
  5. No problem, Man....And thanks for the kind sentiments.....
  6. Thanks, Anthony....I appreciate that....I got the trailer almost done, now.....Just need to fix where some Plastruct Weld dripped on the side of the trailer.....I couldn't believe I did that.....Made me cuss a little, but I'm ok.....I can fix it....Just glad I hadn't cleared it, yet....
  7. Very nice work, Man....This really looks good...I love the purple.....Man, that looks good....I just built one....Didn't bother to post it....I didn't do anything special.....Awesome work...I like those rims, too....
  8. Definitely a futuristic concept....Definitely ugly, but just give it to them boys on that show "Trick My Truck".....See how much chrome they can throw on it....
  9. You've got a good one going, here.....I wouldn't mind doing another cabover with big sleeper....This one looks really good.....Should look awesome with that trailer....And there are for certain, quite a few of these on the roads, still.....If it makes sense to everybody, then it ain't gonna stand out, now is it??? Keep him going in that direction....I love imaginative builds like this.....The "What I'd do if I had about $500,000.00 to spend on a rig" kind of build....Love it....
  10. Looking great, so far.....I like what you're attempting with the Moebius 53' trailer suspension....You're gonna have some fun with this one, I can see....
  11. Don't let it get you down....To be honest, I think you can salvage this.....It looks like you've only forgotten or neglected to install the rear air bags for the rear portion of the sleeper.....I think if you can find those two little parts, you'll win this one....And if you can't find them....Add some small pieces of sprue set vertically just under the rear portion of the sleeper and it will sit level.....Don't give up....I think you can lick this one, because everything else looks pretty smooth....Then, you can change the title to "My Lonestar Success!!!!".....Those instructions look nice, but they're not really very good....The Prostar's instructions are MUCH better, and they can be used as a guide for the Lonestar as well......I've been building big rigs for years, and this one really tested me.....So don't feel bad...
  12. Now that's a nice looking truck....Real nice orange color scheme....
  13. Kostas, I've noticed the same thing....I think the next few builds will have a fade job with a lighter blue I, also, had acquired plenty of.... We're on the same page, but as this wasn't one of my best builds, hidden details is a good thing...lol ... And Thanks, Jesse, for the tip....I'm always at Dollar General....It's amazing what you can stumble onto in there....They just seem to get some the coolest stuff...You never know what you're gonna find.... Thanks, James....I gotta tell ya, I'm looking for some more orange....I really like that color....I don't see abandoning it....Makes models look good and they pop out so much better..... And Earl....I gotta get some more lines from you.....I'll get with you, soon....
  14. Looks pretty cool, Man....Good job making it look "ugly".....Can't wait to see what trailer you, actually, use....
  15. I'm almost done with this thing...Still gotta add some tail lights and a light bar to the headache rack, but I'll get to that.....Time to focus on the trailer, now....
  16. Yes, Sir, you've done it, again, Man....This thing is your best effort, yet....Loving what you've done.....Just love it....Outstanding....My kind of build.....Amazing....
  17. Now, that I think about it, I'm sure if Meng does come out with this kit, there just may be some "sharing" of the tooling....Just like Revell Germany and Moebius on the Lonestar.....I know it's wishful thinking, but it is a possibility....
  18. Looks great, so far....The tanker is coming along well, I see, too....
  19. Looks pretty cool, Man....I really like what you've done, here.....
  20. This is a really cool looking build....I've just got to build one of these Freightliners....Those Italeri kits sure are pricey, these days....Great job of weathering....
  21. Got a Volvo going, here....As most of you know, I've run out of orange paint, but I've got a good crop of Duplicolor Navy Blue on the shelf....I guess this is going to be my next fleet color.....Nothing special, here....Just a plain jane workhorse Volvo....I see a lot of these around here, and I finally got around to building one for myself.....And with the Moebius 53' trailer out, now....This ought to be a pretty cool model....I've got a headache rack for it just in case I decide to use it for a flatbed or a dropdeck, instead, but We'll see.....Well, that's what I kinda want to do, anyway, but here it is.....
  22. I tell you what, Man....It's amazing how these guys ruin a great kit like this by stealing parts....Those people at Hobby Lobby have no real idea about how models are set up and, probably didn't want to deal with it, anyway; and just took it back....But, in my opinion, you could grab anybody's tires and rims for this thing....I think Moebius rims and tires would be the best, but the Revell ones will work, too....But without the photoetched stuff, I don't know....Trading it off sounds like a good idea, too....I might be interested in it, myself.....Depends on what you want for it, I guess..... :rolleyes:I know I have lots of stuff....
  23. Oh, yeah....I got some of that wood flooring you've been using, myself.....Thanks for that tip, Man....That stuff is just great for flooring....Gotta use it for some more drop deck trailers I'm gonna build.....Awesome tip....I'm stocking up....40% off smart phone coupons are the BOMB!!!! Loving Hobby Lobby, Man....
  24. This thing is gonna look so cool....Excellent work, already....
  25. This is looking pretty darn good....Lovin' that orange, Man....I think I'm gonna have to get one of these and make a 53'er out of it....Looks awesome inside, too...
