  1. Found this one in a parking lot all by its lonesome...
  2. I've got two, myself...I built one and if I build the other one any time soon, I'll be sure to strip the chrome....That model was really annoying....I'd be willing to trade it for another Volvo VN780, though...Or even one of those AMT dumper tri axle dumpers...
  3. Saw this bad boy in a Fiesta parking lot in Houston....Just had to grab a couple of shots....Not sure when, but I'd say about 6 or 7 years ago...The trailer appears to be a converted 48' moving van....
  4. Just discovered brake fluid, myself...Great stuff....Good work, so far....This is one of my favorite rigs....Just wish they made a better model of it....I wish Mobieus would tackle the T660....They'd probably produce a much better appointed model...Keep us posted, Dude...Can't wait to see more...
  5. Thanks, Boys for the excellent advice...As I further examined the truck and trailer, it does seem that I'll be able to get away with mounting the fifth wheel further back towards the end of the frame....And, I'm gonna build more of a custom 5th wheel mount as seen on the Testors Ford F-650 Die Cast model....I've been toying around with quite a few ideas and I will put them to the test, tomorrow, I hope...Looking for some serious rain storms, so I don't know if out grid will hold up....As long as I have power, I'll be fine.... Thanks, Guys...
  6. Thanks, Boys for your condolences..It's amazing how many women feel threatened by something as benign as a 1/25 scale hunk of plastic..Thought I was the only one, myself...I see I was wrong...I feel for you boys, as well.. ..I wish I had another one to build, but I haven't found any....I certainly wouldn't mind a replacement...I kinda liked this one, and it took me a bit of effort to get it built...And sorry about your stuff, Dan...Firecrackers had a lot to do with the demise of my Star Wars models I built in the '70's... And, oh yeah...I forgot about the road bed...I found them at Home Depot...They're supposed to be for steps, as you can see, but it makes a really good and realistic road....It has a very tacky adhesive, so it sticks to just about anything...If you use multiple pieces, you can make it just about any size you want...Great for a parking truck stop parking lot...They're about $6 a piece...
  7. Thanks for the info...I'm glad somebody knows...We don't get much by the way of the European race curcuit around here....Thank you very much....The bikes were fully assembled....1 per kit....As you can see, I had quite a few of them...
  8. A shot with the bikes...
  9. You know what, Man....I just discovered that as I was test fitting the cab over the frame...It was not looking quite right, and you just clued me in as to what was wrong...I may have to take your advice and stretch it a bit, but I'm not really looking forward to it...Hopefully I can figure some other way around it...
  10. Got another race rig for you...I plan on making the Scania look more like an American race hauler...I think I've got a pretty good idea of what I want, but I'll be winging it as usual, so We'll see...I started this at the top of December, but I had to start using Photobucket; because this thing wouldn't let me load pics like I used to...I guess I'll just have to get used to it...But, anyway, this is what I have, so far...
  11. Nice work, so far...Looking good on the paint....
  12. Cool looking truck....It's already the length of a bus without the trailer....
  13. I built this one about 8 years ago...Doesn't exist any more due to the wrath of my X girlfriend, but I did manage to get a few pics of it....
  14. Awesome work, Man...Love the paintwork...Way to go...
  15. Looks cool, though....Kinda like that old dog that's so ugly he's cute....
  16. Looks awesome...Love the blue...Nice looking interior....My kinda guy....Very quick builber...
  17. Excellent work on this one...Very nice weathering...
  18. That does look awesome...What a good idea....I love the Autocar on this one...I'd love to get the bucket body and build one like yours...I see these trucks all the time around town, too...Of course, not too many Autocars, but it would make a very nice truck...Wow....You're inspiring me to get on the stick...Great work, Dude...Good work on the decals...And the paint is flawless...Love it...Again, this is great work...
  19. Nice, Nice, Nice...Excellent work...Awesome....You have a knack for this stuff...
  20. Nice work, Man...I like the color scheme...Good extension, too...
  21. This looks great...Excellent detail...Very interesting subject...
  22. It might be....I can't tell the difference in this configuration...Didn't want to get too close and alarm the owner...
