  1. Very nice work on this one...Very nice...Love the weathering...
  2. It's all done, now....You can go to the "Under Glass" section to check out the finished product....
  3. Excellent work, Man....The hand painting is great....Even if you say it isn't accurate, it captures the look and gets the point accross in a big way....I like it and wouldn't change a thing....Maybe build another one and use decals from Jerry and display them side by side to show your skill progression....This looks great...
  4. I finished this one last night....Thought I'd post pics of it outside.... Like I said in the workbench post, it's a snap Pete that I just didn't know what to do with...The OTB version only took me a day to build....I built it when the reissue first came out...About 6 years ago...Now, I've done some work to it...This is what it looked like before the third axle...... Made a couple of changes to this thing....I added another axle to make it a little more heavy duty.....
  5. I'm moving along with this....I'm having fun, again...Just added a few decals....
  6. Thinking about the tag axle, but the sleeper stays...We have quite a few converted rigs like this down here in Houston...
  7. I built this snap Pete about 6 years ago....At the time, I just wanted to see how it would go together and such....I actually built it in just a day....It looked pretty good back then, but now, not so much....So I had to do something with it; but what....Somehow I came up with this, makeshift dumper....I was gonna go all out, but I reasoned this would just be a prelude to something else....So I just built a "dummy dumper", if you will...???I'll upload some more pics, later....Photobucket is acting STUPID, right now....
  8. I like the idea of them doing a fish bowl, but the Prevost looks amazing...The only thing is....Cost....As much as the bus Revell is doing, now is, I'm petrified at how much one of those would cost.... Although the prices for the Lonestar are pretty reasonable for such a good model...Who knows....Maybe they'll be able to cut a deal and keep it affordable...
  9. That's gonna look really good on that chassis...Looking great, already...
  10. Nice work...Looks great...I like the orange paint....
  11. Looks great, Man....I like what I see...
  12. Looking good, Man...I see you're having fun with it...Keep it up...
  13. Go to http://www.theplasticcrafters.proboards.com and check in "Trailers Showroom" for a thread called "Chassis and Container" and I'm sure this will help...He really did a good job on this one....
  14. I have the model, but I have yet to build it....But I did manage to get a measurement for you....It appears to be exactly 9 inches from hub to hub...
  15. This was my very first frame extension....It ended up stolen from my display case when I was in the middle of a move....My neighbor, at the time, thought I was stupid enough not to know he had anything to do with it, but I'm over it...I forgive him, anyway....I totally wish I had it, still, so I could take some more pics of it....
  16. I was surprised at how I was able to put this together as quickly as I did...I thought this one was going to take a lot longer than it did...It didn't get too tricky until I tackled the ramp rack at the rear of the trailer...Otherwise, it's been a pretty smooth operation...
  17. As I stated, earlier, I wasn't satisfied with the Galaxie Trailer, so I've shifted gears and gone for a hot shot car hauler....I think this is going to be more to my liking...I plan to place a few sports cars, of which I've yet to determine, but I'm definitely going to build some.....This is definitely not a replica of any particular trailer, but I did take some photos of one for reference...Even though I'm building this, mostly, from memory...It should be convincing, enough, though...
  18. Awesome work, Dude...This looks awesome...
  19. Outstanding!!!! Looking very nice...Told you you could do this...Your generator looks right at home... Outstanding!!! Looks awesome....We all told you that you could do this....Looking great...
  20. Finally got this one the way I want it....It sports a Paystar I built a long time ago that I never knew what to do with and a modified AMT lowboy...
  21. Yeah, Man...That's the one...This is awesome work...Way to extend the side fairings...Love it...Great job...
  22. Looking great....Lot's of work for you to do, there still, but it surely looks like it's gonna pay off...
  23. Very nice, Man...Very nice...Eye popping detail...
  24. Man, that paint looks awesome on that rig...The graphics you did are outstanding....And I don't know how you got yellow to pop out over that black, but whatever you did, it worked...Very nice....I'll have your next trailer built by the end of the day...Hope to send it out by Monday....
