This kit really tested my patience. It’s a flash bomb but it turns out nice once you get past that. I painted it with krylon flake and then fogged some edges with purple. Then it was coated with Boyd’s dusty rose and then cleared. Still needs a coat of future. The tank was stripped & airbrushed with molitow. I wanted total 60’s so I did the seat with Kens funny fur. It’s really big once built but it’s pretty kool to se these kits again

These kits are so much fun! I mounted this on a $3 picture frame from hobby lobby. Added flickering lights to the lantern & moved it to the crate. Added some kinda lightning effects hidden behind the box. Got a greeting card sound generator from eBay and this is what you get!! Plus painting & weathering of

Hit a milestone! It’s on 4 wheels. By far the hardest part was masking and painting the 4 hub caps. The wheels were airbrushed with molitow chrome. I’ll never do that again! I hope it’s all worth it , changing the body color. Next up will be the firewall and on to the interior. I have resin seats that will be covered in red glove leather. Also I’m lighting up the gages in the dash. -
I think that I used model master panther pink.

Nice! I love these old Tom Daniels kits.

The masking of these hubcaps has tested my patience. I just have a little touch up and then I’ll clear it. But it had to be done as I’m changing body color. -
Really nice! I might have to get one of these.

Got some parts in that were on back order. I’ll be able to put the wheels on as soon as the molitow dries. I airbrushed them as I’m looking towards a chrome effect on the wheels. So far it’s going together well. I’m having paint mixed in the actual color of “White-Gray”. It’s an off white. I’ll be repainting the body in that color. See the last pic for what I’m trying to replicate. -
This is the Polar Lights snap kit. Very nice for a snapper. I foiled the glass & all other chrome was a molitow pen.

Maybe a local body shop? I am repainting mine because I found a color that I prefer. I'll be using a automotive detail gun on mine. -

That's great Bill! Unfortunately the shipments are on backorder still. I've put it away and will resume once I get some parts. -
Not sure if this belongs here but its a restored 1/24 Tamiya lotus on a restored Cox magnesium chassis. Fun project.

Some progress. I have all the parts to make a rolling chassis. Front & rear suspension installed. I have to walnut blast the 4 rims and polish them. Then I can install them. The next set of parts are on back order due to printing of the instructions I was told.
