  3. Jarda Outstanding scratch building.
  4. Michael, The black was the jars of model master gloss black enamel not the lacquer.I thinned it out with airbrush thinner. Wet sanded in between coats with 4000 grit then sprayed it with I think it was Humbrol Clear. It was a while ago. The orange was Testers Hugger Orange spray can. Sprays on flat then sprayed with Testers clear from their spray can. Could have been the Lacquer System on that one. I have now changed over my paint supplies to Tamiya Acrylic. It has no smell and easy clean up. The trick is to wet sand it with min.of 4000 or finer to get any defects, orange peel etc out of it. Then polished with Meguiar's car wax. BUT you really have to be careful not to sand through the paint or the clear coat. Stay away from the edges. Body work has to be perfect for black paint. Any defects will stand out. Ken.
  5. Super scratch building. Gold, yellow or even white would go good for pin stripe. Looks good William. Ken.
  6. Michael I really like your choice of hardware. What an excellent idea. I have always wanted to build a bull nose Kw and will be watching this for sure.
  7. Alain I have enjoyed following your build. You have some very nice skills. Very nicely done. Ken.
  8. Very cool for sure.
  9. Michael, Thanks for the comments. Wow 4 years later and my post still comes around again. The paint used was Model Master Gloss Black. It was sprayed with an airbrush then wet sanded, clear coated and polished.

  14. Nice work.I like it a lot. All pictures and no story? Do you have a name?
  15. Thanks JT. Some good ideas for sure. I'm trying to fill it with some left over paint and then wet sand it. And then fill again and wet sand again.Repeat over and over again. If that fails plan "B". What ever that is.
  16. I have a small update to show. I have the sleeper doors hinged and installed on the sleeper. The sleeper interior is now installed as well. You sure don't see much through the doors. I ended up knocking the sleeper over on it's side hitting something and putting a nice gouge in the paint down to the body filler. "Surprise, Surprise" It is sure turning into a make work project. I should have painted the whole truck orange. At least JT could have got me some touch up paint.
