Ferrari 340 Competizione FINAL PICS UP.....Getting casted!
TFchronos replied to Kennyboy's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Stunning work Ken, it's a beauty.! -
Well it seems the boy's at We R Nutz garage have just realized there's only 25 days left until the big dance and both cars have yet to be started (the engines aren't even mounted for that matter). With that said at the garage is upside down and in complete chaos. Anything that's not related to the two entry cars has been rolled outside (the owners of said cars were surprisingly okay with it saying "bring home that trophy boys"). With that said the boys nodded and got to work. The list of things done so far is as follows. The boys agreed that a little extra horsepower in the from of laughing gas (NOS) should add a little more excitement towards the end on the race should it be needed. Got the battery and wiring in place the fuel tank was also test mounted. The wiring is guitar string if anyone is interested. And finally the dash board is ready in install. And update on Mr. Sinister will be sometime tonight.

Awesome build, it looks great!

When I was planning out my gtx the same idea crossed my mind. Yours is a million times better that what I could have done, amazing and awesome job on it. That is the ultimate sleeper, great work!

Awesome work Fred, we'll be able to see those stripes 10 miles away. Ashley, it's nice to know I wont be the only one with laughing gas onboard. Should make for a fun last few miles. I'm still working on mine, the GTX will be done in time, the hot rod is questionable, los... I mean miss placed a few parts so we'll see.

Very beautiful and creative build! -
That is a dilemma, both sets look good on the car. I'm leaning towards number 1 but it's real close, either choice is a winner in my opinion.
-
Great start, I like the color combo you're going to use.

I just found this thread and read through all of it. Beautiful car, the custom details look really good, loved the hood. Great work on it, I'm definitely watching this one to the end. Keep up the great work!

Awesome work so far and very neat use of thread, I might have to try that someday. I'll probably end up gluing my fingers together though.

Nice progress, it's going to be a sweet ride, keep it up!

1958 Dodge Model Finished - - Class of '58 - - Entry #9
TFchronos replied to Ramfins59's topic in Model Cars
Beautiful work again, it looks perfect in my eyes. I wish I could have grown up around these cars, each and everyone of them was a true work of art. The 50's will always be my favorite decade of cars. Thank you for sharing this fine statement of 58' with us. -
I imagine those are the coolest headers on the planet, absolutely beautiful gasser in the background too.

Man that's sad to hear Rob, I was looking forward to seeing the Hemi spyder as well, but it's understandable. On a side note, I don't know about anyone else but come race day I'm avoiding anyone with a cooler close by.
-
Very nice build, love the engine detail and color!
-
Nice work, looking forward to seeing more as well.

Awesome work Niko! As for me I've got some interior work to show too. Starting with the door panels which are cover with heat and air tape, saw it in Harbor Freight and thought it'd look good for the interior. It was a real pain in the rear to get those windows cranks out of the side panels. Made the back side panels (made from sheet styrene) I also made a fuel cell (out of cardboard.) The Hot rod is stalled out until I come up with a color design for it, so nothing from that for the time being.

67 GTX rebuild Sinister Snake Update 11-05-21 Finished!
TFchronos replied to TFchronos's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Thanks Mike, it's hard to beat a Viper's power and handeling plus I had them laying around so I thought why not take it to the extreme. Thanks Richard I appreciate your honest opinion, means a lot. I agree with you on the tail lights, the red does drown them out. I've been thinking about running some black tape across the back and see how that looks. If it don't look to bad I might spray it. Thanks again Richard!
