I just find it so amazing that with the technology we had in the 60's we were able to build a car that could go over 400 miles per hour. IN THE 60'S!!!
Sometimes human inginuity just makes me speechless.
My 98 s10 has a 4 cyl. that looks to big to fit in the truck. GM was crazy enough to cram a v6 in that tiny engine compartment, and you were crazy enough to cram a v8 into an s10. I dont know how it could be done on a 1:1 s10, but Im sure you could do it.
@ Skip: yes, the wheels are rubbing on the inside of the fromt fenders, not by much though. I think what ill try( when I get to it) is shortening the axles abit.
There are small discs that attach to the inside of the rims to attach it to the suspension. I think I might take the discs off the rims and jus reattach them
Adding the Shelby suspension moved the rear tires back real far and I think Ill put flairs on the back. I would post a pic, but I cant figure out how to do it on my Ipod, do I need the app for that?
I was going to try to use tires from an Enzo, but it didnt work. The tires were fine untill i put on the brakes. Maybe if i made the brakes flush with the axles it would fit
This is the list of items Im ordering from Tamiya, if it helps:
70165(10mm styrene board),70003(x2)(sml pla plate),70053(x2)(2mm round strips),87053(putty),70052(x2)(2mm square strips,70202(x2)3mn u strips,70199(x2)(3mm l strips,
I have a remake of the MPC 67 Pontiac GTO and i didnt like how horribly made it was, so I took the engine, suspension, and whells from a '10 Shelby GT500 and found out that the tires rub on the inside of the wheel wells and i need help figuring out how to widen the wheel arches. What I want to try to do is just make some fender flares for is because I already have the body painted and I dont have alot Of materials to use( im hoping to order some styrene sheets and other things from a local hobby shop). The only stuff i have ordered for models was off of Tamiyas website through a local hobby shop. I would really appreciate the help.
