  1. It's pretty beat!!
  2. That always seems to be the problem, no one ever wants the kits that they are clearing out. At our store they won't put the new kits out until the clearance kits are all sold. I bought a kit that I didn't even want just because of it's price, lol. So frustrating.
  3. On my way there now. Everyone with a cell should take a picture of their stores inventory. It'd be kind of cool to see the difference in the selection between stores. Another Idea is that we could possibly help each other out if another member has a kit at their store we dont and may want.
  4. I found BBK's website but he has nothing for this kit. If he goes by the same name on Ebay I can't find him. To top it off I just found that I have missing parts from my kit which I was initially told was complete.
  5. No, I know nothing of him. What is his seller name and does he ship to the US?
  6. Was this build ever finished?
  7. I have the 1/16 Fujimi F40 kit and want a PE kit for it in the worst way possible. Why can't I find it!!!????
  8. I'm calling fake on this one. What do you guys think? I just bought one off of Ebay last week for $15 lol http://www.ebay.com/itm/PLASTIC-CAR-MODEL-KIT-by-AMT-ERTL-1950-CHEVROLET-3100-PICKUP-FACTORY-SEALED-/181317543166?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item2a375e24fe
  9. Ours is having a clearance right now at $11.99. Ours too never knows what they will get in once the clearance kits move out.
  10. I go to my HTUSA for absolutely nothing anymore. A few years ago he started hiring kids who know nothing hobbywise and the model selection is a joke. He never gets any new kits and restocks whatever kit sells with the same exact one because he thinks that since someone bought it that's what everyone else will want, wrong!! We call them Hobby Clown USA. Also they fail when it comes to R/C. Whenever I need a part no matter what it may be it always has to be ordered.
  11. I can't believe this thread is this long now, lol. I'll be stopping in tomorrow. Surprisingly it's been over a week for me, I feel bad.
  12. Pssssshhhh!! That looks like a contender and possible show winner to me Roger!! Love the color and the cragars on it. My intentions with the kit "were" to actually show it this season but lacking what I feel that it needs will lead it to being shelved as you stated.
  13. So nothing has been retooled or changed in this kit since the release of the kit I mentioned? Is this the most recent release? http://shop.hobbylobby.com/assets/1/14/DimZoom/391094.jpg
  14. Alright, so I had this Monogram 71 Cuda kit in my stash and was super excited to start on it. http://modelcarsandmore.net/yahoo_site_admin/assets/images/075.79185311_std.JPG I opened the box and see that it's nearly empty,I then look at the box art and see that it's a skill level 2. For me that's not enough but I decided to start it anyway. As I started airbrushing parts the part count kept bothering me, IMO allot of things that should be included are missing from the kit which I assume is because of the skill level. Anyway the kit is (okay) but I need something more with allot more detail and parts and the correct tires. Can you guys recommend another 71 kit over this one? I want the best that's out. I have searched allot but so many different kits are made of this car that I don't know which to trust. Thanks guys!!
  15. Was it this kit?? http://www.ebay.com/itm/REV4278-1963-Chevy-Impala-SS-2n1-1-25-Revell-Monogram-/350438677891?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item5197c5dd83
  16. Real nice Rogelio!!! What kit is this and who makes the wheels/tires, Pegasus?
  17. Very nice job on the dio and model. I am in the process of building this kit right now. I can honestly say that I'm not very happy with it, especially the small opening of the the velocity stacks, the way they are attached to the tree, the wheel quality, and the tires are horrible. Also the shape of the rear end is to square unlike the 1:1 car.
  18. I'd take the Cuda for sure. It's already a classic and will do nothing but appreciate with time which is always good.
  19. Thanks for the info Bernard!!! I really wish that they would add photos to their products!!!! I have a link to photos of some of their products that I got from here ,but it doesn't show everything that they carry. Frustrating.. Also, how do you know what wheels/tires fit what? Trial and error I guess? For example they have a tire marked G70-15 T210, how do I know what they are compatible with wheel wise?
  20. Thanks for the information. It's a shame they can't be purchased separate from the kit.
  21. Beautiful build Rob!!! Do you mind if I ask, where are the tires and wheels from? I must have them!!!!
  22. Thanks to everyone for the comments!!! Much appreciated
  23. Yeah, you got those at a good price. They seem to be cheap in general. My kit was $17 and I always see them for under $20
