  1. I did this one all stock in Turquoise with white interior.
  2. Here's another one I did a few years back. Painted in light turquoise with a darker turquoise interior.
  3. Sorry about that...I duplicated a photo & left this one out.
  4. I did this one about 15 years ago. It started out as a Johan Excel promo with sealed hood, no interior & a flat plate for a chassis. I cut open the hood & added the chassis, engine & interior from a 68 Roadrunner kit. Hope you enjoy.
  5. Here's one I did back in the 90's. Revell 69 Z/28 in metallic Lime with black interior.
  6. Thanks again for the great comments...Dr. Cranky, Ray & Dan. I've got the yellow hardtop as well Dan, although it's not built yet. I did look at the finish & I decided it looked a lot shinier than the convertible did so I didn't clear coat it. I may do it when I'm ready to build...we'll see.
  7. Scott, the wheels & tires were a box set from Fujimi. Thanks again guys for the comments. I'll post more of my builds soon.
  8. Thanks again for the great comments. Charlie had asked what colors I used on the interior. Unfortunately I didn't write down the colors I used, I just searched through the couple hundred bottles of Delta Acrylic paints I have & picked out three that i thought would go together & compliment the exterior color.
  9. Believe it or not, Sam, the interior purple & the body color were the same until I sprayed a white ghost flip flop pearl on the outside.
  10. Thanks Sam! this one was fun to do except for the gold foil...that was a pain.
  11. Thank you so much for all the great comments. I bought this from a lady on Ebay who's dad had passed recently. She said it was his favorite kit. I wanted to do it up right in his memory. I guess I did ok with it.
  12. Thanks again for all the great comments. I would love to have another of these kits to do the Pace car for 67. Gabriel I'd definitely be there to help Greg remodel if I were closer as I am also a carpenter in my spare (yeah right) time.
  13. Great looking Nova Tim. I like lumpy hoods so my vote is for the cowl hood, but it does give more of a sleeper look with the stock hood. Either way, it's a nice clean build!
  14. Great looking Hudson. Makes me want to start on the one in my stash.
  15. Beautiful build Sam. I love the period perfect color & the whitewalls look beter than what normally comes in a kit. Your foil work is first rate!
  16. These old AMT kits are showing their age but still build a pretty decent car. Thanks for all the great comments, I appreciate it.
  17. LOL @ David Loye, I like your style! Hey Bob, I don't remember which kit I got the wheels from...coulda been a Revell 68 or 69 Vette or it might have been one of the many kits of 69 Camaro. I just start digging through my stash till I find what I'm looking for.
  18. I am really liking this forum! It's refreshing to get honest opinions & not just lip service. Interesting how divided people are on the new style "large" rims. I personally don't mind the bigger rims on some cars...as long as they aren't hideously huge as on a "Donk". I really didn't notice any body warp & the model sits level on a flat surface. It might just have been my amateur photography, although I did see a couple sink marks in the front fender where the core support is. Thank you for all the comments & input...this will help me to be a better model builder. Not sure what color green that is, George 53, as I painted this one several years ago.
  19. Here's another of Art Anderson's All American Models resin kits. I painted this one about 20 years ago & put it away. I finally got around to finishing it this past summer. It's a curbside built factory stock.
  20. Here is another resin kit from R&R Resin. This one got painted with Copper Flame Pearl. I added a set of gold wires & dropped it down. Hope you enjoy.
  21. This is an original screw bottom annual that I finished late last year. I painted it with 1961 Olds Tropic Mist poly & multi colors on the interior. I think these Bonnevilles look so good dropped so I added Pegasus wheels & set it in the weeds. Hope you enjoy.
  22. This was another rebuilder that I got on Ebay. I know some guys won't like the big wheels, but this car has such large wheel openings it was just begging for some 20's.
  23. Dog gone...I usually catch those directional tires. Gotta be more careful in the future. Thanks for all the great comments guys.
  24. I thought I'd post a few more of my builds tonight. I built this 32 late last year. Painted in Kustom Shop Hot Rod Red with saddle interior. It's pretty much box stock. Hope you enjoy.
  25. Thanks guys for the great comments. This was one of those kits that was suppose to go together fast but the more I did to it the more I wanted to do. It is a really nicely detailed kit even though it's advertised as a snap kit. I glued most everything as I went. I'm glad you all liked it
