I've seen these in person and they are nice, but the wheel is cast integral with the tire. Adds an unnecessary level of difficulty in finishing them IMHO.

Thanks Mark! Sounds like both the wheel and tire are tough to find. That's a shame I think they are both great pieces, would like to have a few more sets.

Yea I opened the slots on the wheels. The tire is similar but not the same as those in Revell's Orange Crate based on this picture from one of Casey's kit reviews. Orange Crate Tire My tire

I didn't think Halibrand made 12 spokes either but was taking R&M's word for it. These say American Racing.
