Well she is gone now so I won't have that problem. We've been divorced since November 2011.

Managed to get some engine work done yesterday while watching the race. I will take a respectable 2nd place finish for Jr. If he made his move one lap earlier I think he had enough to get past Johnson but 2nd it is. Anyway, I managed to start my 70 Chevelle engine and the Revell Paddy Wagon engine as well.

He should have made that move one lap sooner.

Yeah no kidding...

I just started the engine on the the 3 'n 1 Chevelle kit. Just going to build it as the stock SS version.

Very cool, they have a kit I can use. Will have to pick it up!

Here is my Dale Jr. Budweiser build from about 4 years ago. All that remains of it anyway. The chassis went the rest of the way when my angry then ex-wife threw all my stuff in the dump when we separated... Lots of built model cars and military kits all in an Ohio Landfill somewhere....*sigh*

@Ron, it's weird. Only site I am having an issues with. @Rich, cool. Not too far from Hendersonville. I was in Pittsburgh once.

That was where I was doing it from. Also I noticed sometimes when I try to post a post as well it doesn't go the first time. Have to retype it all over again after I refresh the screen.

Wheels and suspension went in from what I was seeing...that was close.

I am racking my brain over which color to paint the body. Having fun with the kit as we speak! Skip, I tried several times this morning and everytime I attempted to upload a photo it registered as an error. So not sure what you're talking about. Just relaying my experience with it.

Figures. The last new NASCAR kit was ages ago. Since I was away from the hobby I wasn't really watching what was being produced but did read that SLIXX went out of business due to licensing issues on the NASCAR decals. Oh well...

They have my 1970 Buick GSX Stage 1 in stock!!! Now where do I get $82,000?????

How is the tooling on the newer kits? I see the pricing has gone up with the newer kits. Are the kits better to justify the price increase? I haven't built a NASCAR kit in a long, long time. When I stop in the stores and see some of the pricing on them it pretty much discourages me, lol.

Gotta say that when I saw the under hood shot I couldn't believe it wasn't real. Great detail there. Hopefully when I am finished with my 41 Ford Woody I can do the same. The whole build looks great Rich!

Here is my first car... I was only 3 years old when it came out, but when I was in my late teens I lucked out and found one and did a ground up restoration and spent about $8,000 and then sold it because I needed to pay for school... I miss that thing!!! Scott

I have a question: Since I have been out the hobby for a while, I had read that Slixx Decals had either closed up shop or stopped making NASCAR decals because they mentioned that licensing was getting really expensive. Is there an alternative now? I had tons of their decals saved for projects when I was building them a while back but when I got out of the hobby, I gave the decals to the guy who got the kits. Now I want to get back in building my favorite cars and I'm not sure there is an outlet to get decals from anymore? Anyone know? Thanks in advance... Scott
