  1. Great photos Cruz. Thanks. Good seeing you again.
  2. There are a lot of the O.V.S.M ones around. You need to get that club going again.
  3. Mine are kept in the cheap plastic cases inside a bigger open front case. It does the job.
  4. Mine is going on about 13 years old now and working great. The 2 Fasco blowers are good to move about 300 CFM each. Never had any problem with overspray in the dedicated 6' square spray room. The old computer switch box turned sideways controls both fans and both lights.
  5. I feel honored to be mentioned along side some of the modelers I've look up to for so long. Thank you! I too have a list of modelers that I feel are the top dogs that I look up to. Randy Derr ..... your upcoming sprint car just blows me away. Jim Drew ..... what more could be said about your Grand Sport. Ken Hamilton ..... Your attention to detail is second to none. Larry Booth ..... Everything you touch turns to gold, fantastic.

  11. It's simple: Start with a new kit and finish it in 24 hours. No problem! If anyone wants to join in on this years 24 hour build, this is the information I need from you. Your name and location in the world. Send me a link to the place you'll be posting photos during your build. Go ahead and throw in that album a photo of the model box, or better yet, you holding the model box. Post photos in this album during your build to show all the other guys your progress. If we don't hear from you, we will assume your sleeping. That's it! I don't need your social security number your first born, no cash or credit card number, and no sending me your finished model for my personal collection (unless you feel strongly about it. So just what do get out of the deal? Well to start with, no sleep for at least 24 hours, and no warm blankets or a pillow to cuddle up with. You also get no award or trophy. What you do get is some of the best times you ever had with your modeling buddies, hopefully a finished model, and at my house, we shall receive some of the best eats this side of the Mason Dixon, including one hell of a breakfast, compliments of my wife and daughters. So what are you waiting for! Get me the information I need and join in on the fun. Check out my Fotki album to see photos of our last 3 builds. http://public.fotki.com/gkulchock/ If you can't do the build, at least check in on our photo albums during the build and support us. All comments and words of support are welcome. Later ..... Gary Kulchock

  19. Only 11 days left until the start of the 3rd annual 24 hour build. Where: Build to take place anywhere you choose. Either as a group or by yourself. When: Build starts at 12:00 noon on Saturday Jan. 17, 2009, and ends at 12:00 noon on Sunday Jan. 18, 2009 The Rules: Subject is not important, but the kit must be un-started. 4 parts may be glued onto the body ahead of time to allow the glue to dry. No joint sanding, rescoring of door lines or primer to be done ahead of time. Builder should try to complete their model in the designated 24 hours. Use of all aftermarket products (photo-etch, turned aluminum, decals, etc….) are permitted. Have fun. This is not a contest. How can you or your group get in on this? Send me an e-mail with each builders name, email address and the location of a photo site where you can post pictures of your build progress during the 24 hours. This is so we can all see each others progress during the build. Also include your build subject and a photo of you and your model box so I can get a list posted of all who’s in on this. Check out my Fotki site for information on this build as well as photos from builds past. Are you up for it? Hope to hear from you soon.
