  1. Can you buy that in small sizes though?
  2. Wow! Looks like good stuff. Anything on the buckles though?
  3. Wheelie bar housing? What does that contain, I would be interested in it if it is the whole wheelie bar! Do you have anything for seat belts or buckles?
  4. Do you think if I sanded regular plaster, and painted it correctly, I could get a similar look?
  5. I think that look could be achived by maybe brushing some clear coat on it, to give it that thick look.
  6. Oh, I think I might just print it out on paper and dull coat it. There is something used to make "pavement" you mix it and its kind of like cement. I forget what the name was, but i saw it on you tube, but it was kind of pricey to get.
  7. Does it show up with the black sandpaper though? I suppose I could paint it gray to make it a little smoother and make it look a little better. Then just sand the burnout marks into it.
  8. Oh I see. I was kinda hoping to do something that had like tire marks from the burnouts and such. Also if anyone has pictures of one they've made, post em up!
  9. I have a build I want to make a drag strip for , so I can take some nice photos. The only way I have figured is to just print out the designs on paper and just glue it to some cardboard. I would Ike something a little more real looking and durable so I can display the model on it. Any helpful tips, links to tutorials, etc would be MUCH appreciated. Oh...and it would be helpful if it was for 16th scale..... And it obviously doesn't need to be the whole drag strip, just a the starting line and a little more.
  10. Another video update for anyone watching them. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VvYQFZpLcrQ
  11. It amuses me to see the hood on the 'cuda still didn't fit right way back when Seems to be fairly common with that kit. The builds look great though!
  12. You can make simple pins by taking paper clips and straightening them out, then using a small drill bit and pliers, bend the paper clip so that it has the circle where the drill bit was and then is flat. I can show you a picture if you would like, if you don't understand
  13. Well this is kinda wierd, being as I've been around for a while, but the admins say to reintroduce, so that I will. I am Anthony, and I go by the name of Mrdarkonkey96 on any forums I join, and youtube. I'm still fairly new to modeling, having completed two models, and having two in progress, and one in reserve. I primarily have built 1/24-25 scale, but if I see a kit I like, even if its a 1/16 or 1/12, I won't hold back. Here's some work of mine! First model. Matching tractor You can check out my WIP thread for some more info on my current builds, although I haven't updated it lately, and I might have some current stuff on my youtube channel. Thanks fer readin!
  14. Checkout diecastdeluxe.com there 1/18th scale but they'll suffice for most purposes, although I don't think. They are photo etch, but they do look very in scale, and realistic.
  15. I'm moving out to the east coast fairly soon... BUT! I wanted to attend a model show in the great state of minneSNOWta. If anyone's having one, or knows about one preferably near the willmar area PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
  16. I actually tested on some spare sprue, and. It seemed okay so I should be good!
  17. I usually do anyways. Thanks!
  18. I'm curious if one coat lacquer can be sprayed over krylon brilliant silver. I'm fairly sure it's oil based paint, not enamel... I have sprayed the one coat lacquer over testors aluminum enamel brush paint an my exhaust pieces so I would think it's pretty versatile. Anyone with experience, or knows the answer to my miiiilllion dollar queeeestion!!!!!!!!!! ? *although it is a million dollar question, one million dollars will not be awarded to the answer-er... No purchase neccesary many will enter few will win...
  19. My camera isn't taking very good pictus right now, but I've gotten the suspension, floorpans, trunk, firewall, and various engine bits painted black, the final coat of blue on the body, and the interior is painted.now time to finish the engine, and slap on some chrome, and clear coat. Here's a video for ya.
  20. Nice! I still have to finish the paint on my viper, and glue back on the wheel, and that's done, then build my impala, and THEN I can open the charger. Temptation to open it is going to be awful!
  21. Just purchased it! And I don't really build a specific scale. If I see a car I like, I build it!
