  9. some more
  10. well, I built this model for a contest, and I won first place. Only out of four people, but winning is winning. the color is fiery orange one coat.. No clear, as I didnt have any, and the deadline was racing towards me. I wired and plumbed everything except the brake lines, battery to starter, and carb linkages etc. (fuel lines, radiator, overflow bottle, oil cooler, starter to alternator, spark wires) I added custom wheels, modified the brake drums to fit those wheels, and painted them candy blue. I flocked the interior carpet, and blacked out all window trim, door handles, charger badging, and side signal lights. I left the headers open because i wanted to- well actually because I forgot to pick up aluminum tubing. I'm sure I forgot some other things, but I'll let the pictures describe the rest.
  11. thanks! I hated How the wheels stuck out so far!
  12. I got them from another forum member. Check out RC cars. Thers were actually 1-18th scale wheels but they were so oversized they worked.
  13. Here ya go folks
  14. Not sure what category this falls Into but I'm looking for some pictures of the acrylic basecoat colors black, green, turqoise and gold. Please note either silver or gold base coat. Thank you, and sorry if this should be in Q&A...
  15. I dont believe so. I have a friend whos brilliant with photoshop though!
  16. I'm not surr I can adjust the iso.. and I just have a point and shoot.
  17. Hmmm, ill try glossy posterboard instead if a towel... are any of those computer programs free? And I have nooo clue what format the camera shoots in other then jpeg..
  18. Im using sunlight, a tripod and the two second timer to avoid the slight shake when you push the button. no flash, I didnt change the exposure, or aperature. It is slightly overcast today, which may influence the photo.. this is a 79 Camaro in scalefinishes Candy apple red with aluminum metallic basecoat, and duplicor clear, polished to 12000, and waxed with zymol. I feel neither the glossy finish or the Brilliant Candy apple red was captured in these photos. I still need to remove the polish from the panel lines and give em a quick wash.
  19. I have camaro and two charger street machines I need to photograph, but the metallic paint and glossy finish are throwing my camera off and, and I cant capture the finish well.... any tips, Im using a white sheet for a background, and a nikon coolpix s6200.
  20. i have the rear transaxle from the gmc wrecker kit you can have.
  21. you mixed the two?
  22. uhhh... we actually dont get along that well.. but we have our moments, haha
