I've found myself getting into hot rods, street rods, and kustoms lately... Wanting to take a break from lowriders and weathered cars, I decided to tear into this kit from Monogram. Originally I was gonna build a rat rod out of it, but decided against it when I found a couple pics of some killer rods... I've started gathering parts and supplies for this build, and have started gluing the engine parts together. This kit has some of the nicest whitewall tires I've seen IMO... The whitewall inserts are separate which is pretty cool... I thought I'd play around and do a mock up of how it would have started if I would have decided to rat it out lol...

This is an awesome build! I have always loved COEs shiny, but the rusting is perfect and fits this well! On the flatbed , I would weather it, but then take some graphite and rub it on the areas where tires from cars being loaded and unloaded would rub and make the metal used but shiny from wear ...
