  8. What type of glue? If the body isn't painted yet, you should be able to sand and buff the glue out. I would take the mirrors off, to get a smooth surface. Then put a pin into the base of the mirror, and drill a corresponding hole in the body for an easier locate. Good luck Cheers
  9. WOW Joe!! Great job of cramming there
  10. On the engine I would wash in a grungy rust red....hull red Tamiya. Or thinned med. brown testors

  21. Thanks Derek.. Hey Joe, Thanks Man, I've wanted to do this kit again for,... ohh... 35 yrs.!lol Bit of an update,.. Ended up stripping the exhaust of that horrid Krylon chrome,..thinking on a different approach,.. the solder I have is the right size,...? and while I'm thinking I broke out the Scale motorsports P/E upgrade kit. I sanded all the Tamiya rivet detail off the cockpit tub.. The P/E set is beautiful,..detailed , precise, smooth,....ya so I had to change that,.. I sanded each piece with 400 g then polished using Autosol metal polish...just to make it look a little more used,... I used Insta-Cure+ Medium..5-15 sec. Still very quick adhesion,..but just enough time to move it,...once I'll get back to those exhausts,.. when I'm ready,... Right now tho I really gotta get some sleep that was a long bench sit so ya cheers
  22. I agree with Skip To use real burled walnut at this scale,...you would end up with 1/4 of a burl, in that size dash,... Cato I think your Sedanca is looking great!! Cheers
  23. Nice work going on in that new shop of yours Richard! Cheers
