  1. I could be on board with a new 55 nomad.
  2. Yeah, I heard that one too. Any truth to it? Wouldn't be the first time i missed a new kit.
  3. My point exactly. sniping like that is what leads to topics getting locked and i'm just worn smooth out with all the sniping. I've been drawn into arguments on this board before. and I've learned quite a few tricks to deal with these types.
  4. you haven't seen all the back and forth over the bumper guards on the new Del Rio kit? YES its a JOKE.................... You know. I don't have the time to get into another food fight trying to explain simple humor. Its just not worth it................................................
  5. He probably didn't want to see anymore foodfights over bumper guards so he took a break... In all seriousness, i hope he's ok.
  6. Man that SUCKS!!! I hope its not true.
  7. Just completed trades with AFX ,(JC Reckner), and Kenny Boy, (Ken Boyer). First class guys to trade with. I hope to trade with them in the future. Thanks Guys.
  8. Parts of my unit in Germany did get activated and did ship to the sandbox. I was just finishing up my 4 yr pull, and was out processing. I had DX'ed all my gear, turned in all my NBC gear, and had all my trash packed, got told at the airline check in counter to get my !@## back to the company area and report in. We had just bombed Baghdad...... So i spent another 6 months in Germany. Not a bad duty station by ANY stretch. I'm proud of my service, and I don't think any less of us who didn't see "the elephant"(DEATH up close and personal), I just have a very profound respect for those that have,
  9. I never served in combat myself. I did my hitch in Germany, so i can't and won't comment on the horrors of war. I am not qualified to. But for those of you guys and gal's out there who have, you have my utmost respect. Especially on this day. Thank you!!!
  10. I'm a volunteer crew member aboard the LST 325 (Landing ship, tank), moored in Evansville , Indiana. When they fire the twin 40mm pom poms during shows and Re-enactments, some of the original vets that served aboard LST's in WW2 and Korea get aliitle spooky. Some of them tear up and go silent. I couldn't imagine the memories and the things they saw and did. Those guns would be a powerful memory trigger for sure.
  11. Sweet truck!!! one of my favorites!!!!
  12. Yeah. I figured that out after i re-read the post. I went back and changed the comment.
  13. Looking at the pictures, it looks like they used a torsion bar setup like the early VW bugs had. Pretty slick setup.

  17. Looks good!! Clean build. Hows the accuracy of the 1/25 body vs the old monogram 1/24 body?
  18. Just completed a smooth trade with b-body fan,(Michael Stevenson), Great guy to deal with. Hope to do more trades with you in the future!!
