  1. Thanks Larry! I sanded off the chrome strip on the front fenders and doors, and started on lowering the suspension.
  2. Nice stance!
  3. Nice detail work!
  4. Like I don't have enough projects started already. Mold part lines removed, door handles filled, key locks removed, gas lid filled, and rear truck décor filled. I'll be back on the Deuces soon enough.
  5. I can't wait to see this at the NNL in February!
  6. .......oh yeah! Very nice! The interior looks good!
  7. Nice! I have two of them in progress, one channeled, and one not.
  8. Nice!
  9. I like the new doors!
  10. Nice paint.......wish I could have seen it tonight.
  11. Bernard, I squared off the corner of the notch instead of leaving it rounded that way the strip styrene would fit w/ minimal fitting. I laid tape across the edge of the detent and slowly built up the filler. Its still rough and I applied another layer of filler across the whole edge. I also filled in the back side to blend it all together also. The deck lid actually fits better than what is pictured. I'm thinking about hinging it to show the frame/suspension detail underneath, maybe. If you're coming down for the NNL I'll have it w/ me if its not finished.
  12. Here you go Bernard: Notch for the gas tank is filled, as is the detent for the license plate.
  13. It's Tamiya TS-42 Light Gunmetal.
  14. The Lowboy will definitely have the velocity stacks installed. I haven't decided yet on the Highboy.
  15. Oh yeah, I like it!
  16. Ok, I sprayed some color on the Highboy Rat Roaster body:
  17. .........misted on a light coat of orange on the chassis.
  18. I will have to agree w/ you on that Johann. I look at the ones that are channeled and chopped, and a "normal", slightly lowered, Deuce just doesn't look "right".
  19. Oh yeah........looking good!
  20. Wow, this build is coming along nicely!
