The new Ecto (?) is an 83 Cadillac S&S. Unfortunately, the larger fullsize hearse was discontinued in 1977. This is the more narrow, shorter, compact cadillac model. It's about 2/3rd the size of the 1959 M.M. Ecto-1, and the 1976 S&S.

That is horribly sad. Way too young to pass away. My sincerest condolences to his wife and children, may he rest in peace...
