Real aluminum Peterbilt wheels
Custom Hearse replied to Ben's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Actually, what I'd like to see is some custom wheels for a 1/16th KW. If I drew up a design for wheels, how much would it cost to have them made? -

Help for the kids
Custom Hearse replied to Custom Hearse's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
You're welcome Rick. It's gotta be hard to be a kid and watch everything you own disappear within minutes. They need to try and get a life back... -
I got an e-mail from the president of the 4 States Modelers Club about the Joplin tornado, and the kids who are affected by it. He is asking if anyone would like to help out the kids. Here is his e-mail: hello all, AS you all know Joplin was hit HARD by an EF-5 Tornado last Sunday. i have been there every day since. taking part in rescue, recovery, and just about everything else. ITS BAD FOLKS. I have also seen the collection centers of all the homeless people and all the kids effected by this. so that got me to thinking (i know ohhhh boy) but i just may have a good idea, but it will take all of you to pull this off. The kids stuck in the collection centers have no outlets for normalcy(if that's a word). why not give them one with a model make and take? we can go set up in a tent or something and donate our kits and time? what a way to give back as to spend and afternoon give these kids some time to enjoy being a kid again. SO I'M ASKING FOR ANY KITS YOU CAN GIVE AND ANY TIME YOU CAN SPARE. I STILL NEED TO PASS THIS THROUGH AMERICARE TO GET A PLACE TO DO IT. but i cant think of anything more exciting than this. what do you all think. feedback with information is very much needed to get this rolling so the sooner the better. again i know what A GREAT BUNCH OF PEOPLE WE HAVE IN THE THIS so let show our support and get this rolling. I'm going to call the model companies tomorrow and Kalmbach publishing and anyone I can think of. please feel free to do the same. THANKS EVERYONE. Rick Edens If you would like to help, here is the e-mail address of the club: 4.state.modelersclub@live.com Thank you for your time...

Who are they Rick? I hope they come out of this safe and unhurt. I think it's gonna be bad tomorrow... Keep your family safe Steve! If you do see or hear of a tornado in the area that is headed your way while driving, get everyone into a low lying ditch and stay down. DO NOT drive into an underpass. The tornadic winds will multiply inside of it and give it a wind tunnel effect... Be safe my friend.

Cool! I'm looking forward to seeing the progress you make on this! I'm doing a '77 style Blackbird T/A wagon. I thought it would be kinda cool to do a Bandit family wagon!
