  1. The kit is pretty bad, but you did an awesome build with this. The first time I saw body, I couldn't help but laugh at how thin the plastic was. Yours is a masterpiece, LOVE IT!!!
  2. LOL!!!! There are 2 of those original Corvette Summer cars in existence. One was the car they used for stunts, and one for close ups. I have seen both in one place, and was told that I could buy the stunt car for $10,000.00, or the show car for $50,000.00(in 1980). If I had the money I definitely would've bought the car...
  3. This is the one I drove: The trailer is old... Probably late 90's/ early 2000's.
  4. I have to agree, the second spring looks allot better! Looking forward to the next installment...
  5. What if I need a small part, or a decal sheet, and I know it will never show up on E-Modelcars, or Ebay and I need it right now and I don't have anything to trade?
  6. The lights installed backwards give the a kind of a fang look. That's a mistake that turned out for the better!!! Nice work!
  7. Absolutely awesome Bill! The craftsmanship is unbelievable.
  8. Thanks Bill! I did the same thing... Rushed home, made a snack, and watched all the BIF's , BAM's, and KERPOW's fly across the screen!
  9. LOL!!!! That durn cats been drinkin' muh beer and blews yup muh TV!!!
  10. But... Then the sanding nightmares will start again!!!
  11. And I'll bet you knew nothing about his TV...
  12. Hmmm... Maybe I might be able to get more! It does include Batman and Robin... Although I don't think I'd get much for Robin...
  13. I'd like to find a 53' step deck trailer. I used to pull one hauling hay. Hey Mark! I seen a magazine article somewhere that someone built a portable car crusher trailer. If I find the picture again, I'll message you where the article was located.
  14. Thanks Jesse! And I hope that this build will remain worth watching... I'm in the middle of sanding the cabs, and getting ready to add filler. Just gotta figure out where I put the filler...
  15. Yeah Robert... That would be a little overboard maybe. Tape... and tape... and more tape, and slooooooowly cutting with a No. 11 hobby knife. I followed the mold lines on the cab at the rear, and the door lines at the front. I stuck a long single piece of tape to the lines, and then kept adjusting them until they matched exactly on each side. Then I used the the edges of the tape to make the cuts with the knife. Thanks for looking and the question Robert, I'm always glad to answer any questions anyone has.
  16. Thanks Chris! They're not the greatest, but if you think about it, this kit came out years before fenders were popular.
  17. Thanks David. Still thinking about metallic blue and silver, but now that I found the decal sheet in the new kit includes the special edition Peterbilt Patriot stripes, I may paint it white. I haven't quite decided yet.
  18. Thanks Ben. I had already cut the first cab apart, so all I had to do was cut the second cab. The new re-issued kit plastic seems a bit softer. It took about 10 minutes to cut it apart...
  19. Yeah Tony... You'd think that Round 2/Polar Lights would add them to the regular kit... These figures come unpainted and have to be assembled. The kit also includes the Penguins umbrella, and penguins decals but the penguin is absent. I guess this is in reference to the Batman movie, where the penguin gasses Batman and Robin, and steals the Batmobile... The kit also includes 2 different chassis', and includes the turbine engine.
  20. Here's the figures that are included in the kit. They feel like they are made of resin, but there is no mention of what they are made of in the kit... On with the pictures Batman has his hands so they hold the steering wheel, and Robin is hanging on for dear life to the top of the windshield. I'll be finishing this build right after the Pete is finished.
  21. Thanks Harry... Now I need to start all over again... 1+1=2, 2+2=4, 4+4=8...
  22. Here's the pics I promised... Here's the cab stretched. It looks a lot better than the mockup... I'm gonna work on it a little tonight, and hopefully have an up date tomorrow... Thanks for looking!
  23. That would be wild Chris! Be careful where ya drool though... I'd hate to feel responsible for you destroying your computer! That's another good idea Ben! I would need to cut out the back of the cab to fit it on the frame... The engine is too big!!!
  24. Thanks Gramps. They gave me paperwork to look at but I'm not real intelligent when it comes to medical terms.
  25. I agree with Al... Love to be able to get that kit!
