  1. Got a little more work done on the 34 today. I painted the frame purple, got the front fenders primed, and chopped the top 3 scale inches... Before... After... Before... After...
  2. Oh man, Sorry to hear that! I hope you get to feeling better soon!!! I know what you mean about crutches and stairs...
  3. With the grill added, it looks like the engine is lost in there...
  4. I've built up part of the flathead engine that came with the kit, but it seems a bit undersized. I may either build a different engine, or use a different flathead...
  5. COOLNESS!!! Nice chop work. That would make a heck of a... (ahem) custom hearse!
  6. Actually... It's a '34... Thanks for the compliment!
  7. Thanks Dave! I never knew that existed. I'll have to find some... Then I'll have to bug you about how to mix it! Thanks again Dave!
  8. I've never used the putty seen above before, I usually use Evercoat 2 part putty, But I thought I would try the Bondo brand this time. Never had a problem with it ever.
  9. Here's a mock up of what I'd like to do with it...
  10. More great ideas! Thanks guys! Here's the putty I bought from Auto Zone... Thanks again guys!
  11. Lee... It would probably be a good idea to move this to the "workbench" section. I didn't move it there yet.
  12. Thanks Bob! Unfortunately there isn't a Pep Boys around. I did buy a small container of Bondo brand 2 part putty yesterday. Maybe if I put it in the fridge like I do super glue, it'll last longer. I don't know where I would find containers for it...
  13. I'm handing this build off over to Midnight Prowler. I have too many things going on at once, so I asked him to take over. Thanks to everyone who wanted to join in!
  14. What is the best way to store 2 part putty so that it lasts longer? Every time I buy it, it seems to get hard inside the container. Should I store it somewhere cool, warm, or room temperature, so that it doesn't dry up as fast? Thanks!
  15. A little boy with a lisp goes out on Halloween dressed as a pirate to trick or treat. First house he gets to he knocks on the door, and a lady opens the door. "Twick or tweet" say's the little boy. "Oh, you are such a cute pirate" say's the lady, "but where are your buccaneers?" The little boy reply's... "On my bucken head!" A blond is out looking for work to make a little extra cash one day, knocks on a guy's door. "Can I help you?" asks the guy. She tells him what she wants, and he say's "I have something you can do." He hands her a couple cans of paint and say's, "I need my porch painted, can you do that?" She says yes, and the guy sends her off. About a half hour later, she knocks on the door and say's she's done. "That was fast, how many coats of paint did you put on?" "2." she say's, "And I didn't need 2 cans of paint either." "That's great!" he say's "By the way," she say's, "it's a Ferrari, not a Porsche..."
  16. Cool Jake! I've already started mine last night. I'm adding the tires and wheels from the '41 Willy's coupe. It may not end up being a rat rod farm truck, but we'll see... Looking forward to seeing yours started.
  17. Looks like you're off to a heck of a start Alexandre! This should be interesting!
  18. The eliminator wasn't stolen... "As regards to the actual Eliminator car’s post-MTV existence, the coupe went on to enjoy a lengthy period during which it was carted off to various automobile conventions. As befits a legend, upon arrival it was invariably cordoned off and augmented with visual accouterments intended to approximate the models who accompanied the car in the videos. Today, fans can view the vehicle on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, where it has been housed since the late ’90s." http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Lifestyle/Feat...Top%20and%20th/
  19. That's fine with me... If you want to blame me for your problems, that's also fine. you posted that you got tired of people giving you a generic "That's nice" and "Looks good" answers to your posts. What do you want... People to get on their knees and bow to you? If so, you have a lot to learn. All I, and everyone else did was try to help you out with information, and you acted like an immature, self righteous child. If that is the way you're going to act, you are not going to have too many friends here. And on that note, I'm putting you on ignore...
  20. Any updates Janne? I like what your doing with it! I see you don't like vans Jeff! Those look really good! The Dodge with the big the big window in the side, is that a kit, or did you customize it yourself? It looks like the van from the movie "The Van"...
  21. I've got the Monogram kit, so I'm gonna watch this and see how it goes. It looks good so far. Erik, yours looks great! Thanks for posting the color, I was wondering what to use on it.
