I just returned from a funeral for Deputy Chism, who was gunned down by a suspect while in foot pursuit. Deputy Chism was 25 years old and a member of Cedar County Sheriffs department for 3 years. He is survived by his wife of 31/2 years, and his 2 year old son. He is a hero in my book, and deserves to be remembered as such... Rest In Peace Matt...

I know how you feel James. After my near fatal heart attack, having a pacemaker/defibrillator put in me, and the news that I'm never able to drive truck again, I went into a deep depression. My anger was apparent to a lot of people, and I lost a lot of friends. I try to live day by day (and watch a lot of comedies) has helped. You have family and a woman to love you, so let them in your heart and don't close them out, you will regret it. I'll keep you in my prayers for a successful outcome of the operation you'll be going through...

Sorry andy, but I don't own the car, I just love the '69 corvette. I'm guessing that it was probably "cleaned up" as a restoration. Restoring a car CAN range from a mild cleaning to a full on rebuild you know, or maybe you don't...

I'm happy with mine doing 20MPH... 200MPH, ya just can't have that much fun with it!
