    I use Duplicolor engine paint over Duplicolor primer on all my engines, haven't had any problems yet!

    I use Duplicolor products all the time their primers are the only primer I do use,( I never paint without priming first ) have never had a problem with their products, I do put the can in a container of hot tap water and warm it before spaying, makes the paint flow better. Like Eric said your end result is only as good as the prep underneth, hope this helps!!
