Hey Joseph, we have all been there don't let that discourage you, you have done a great job that's how we learn sometimes trial and error, but it is still a great looking build, keep up the good work
For me it was a 1969 Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet black on black. I was 17 and my next door neighbor had that and a 63 Galaxie 500 Convertable 390 with 3 dueces and a factory 4 speed, and he and his wife split and they sold the cars for cheap but it was 1971 and things were cheap compared to now but I guess I just didn't beg dad quite enough cause he wouldn't give me the dough said I would kill myself, he might have been right!!!!!
Hey Douglas that is simple but effective amazing how far a little modeler ingenuity will go huh? I do the same thing here I also have a fairly complete woodworking shop in my basement also so it isn't nothing to like you said go to the lumber pile and whip up something to fit my needs at the moment. Kudos my friend!!
Welcome aboard Andres, this is an excellent forum lots of top notch builders here you can learn alot. Don't know about the stores there but if you go to www.micromark.com you will find all sorts of tools and supplies.
Very nice Ray, I have a neighbor that has one that looks just like the one in the pic except it is in mint condition, anyway you did an excellent job on yours excellent color choice
Hey Chris go with the leopard print. I had a buddy in high school that had a 57 chevy car and his dad was an upholsterer and got some leopard print at work the car was painted in chrysler's plum crazy, and that leopard print really popped, for what it's worth. I've got a 55 Cameo that I am going to start on sometime soon I've been saving it for some time now thinking about pulling it out and getting started on it. Keep up the excellent work.
I used to have one of those, but don't know what happened to it I think I still have the box though that I keep parts in and I'm pretty sure I saw that hood in one of my parts bags the other day but anyway hope it turns out well.
