Again this is a great model. Would you mind telling me what color you painted the engine block. In some pics I've seen of this car it looks to be light blue. Thanks for your help. I plan to build this car in the near future.
Beautiful funny car. Love the tin work. Many people who build these kits don't get the stance right. Yours is perfect. It's good to see someone take the time to get it right.
I ordered 2 sets of decals from Lucas Sunday the 20th and they came in the mail on Thursday. I couldn't ask for better service. I haven't used the decals yet but they look good. Thanks for everyone's help on this.
Great looking model! Love the paint. It's good to see some one build this car more like the original. The rear wheels in the kit didn't even exist in 69-70. Most of the pictures you see of this car had wheels with gold centers like your model. You did your homework. good job.
Thanks to everyone for helping me with this. I've wanted to build the Psycho Mustang and the Brutus GTO for a long time, and Lucas has decals for both. Thanks again for the help.
I built this kit a couple of years ago and the decals were still in pretty good shape. They went on without many problems. Some were a little ragged around the edges, but some decal solution helped.
I was referring to the body for Jungle Jim's short body 66 Nova. His first flopper. I have the Comp. Res. Longnose A/FX. It shouldn't be hard to make one . The body has basically stock dimensions except that the front wheel openings are moved forward.
I was about to order a couple of funny car bodies from Reliable Resins. Then I saw a post on the Southern Motorsports and Hobbies site by a guy who said that they kept his money and he never got his order. Has anyone on here done business with them? Are they reliable?
Great looking model. Detailing a 1/16th scale kit sure is a lot easier on the eyes! I'm about to start on the 1/16th Hawaiian funny car. Where did you get the 1/16th scale seat belt hardware? Again, you did a great job!
The rerelease of the Malco Gasser got me thinking about the Ohio George Multi Maverick kit, which was rereleased by Model King or somebody a few years ago. This kit looked nothing like the real car. I have never understood this. Does anyone know the reason for this. Was there another Multi Maverick that I have never seen?
Just got the Malco Gasser. I had the original when I was a kid. Maybe I'll do a better job on it this time. I never thought I'd see this kit again. To Round 2, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !
