  1. I found that when painting with them I primer the parts first with Duplicolor primer. Unprimered plastic is much harder to paint. I do the same when I paint with Tamiya paints.

  3. Been working on the BMF. Will take better pics outside.
  4. Nice haul there Tom. I have that same tool kit in the case. Nice lil kit but doesnt have much power.
  5. I bought this as a started build. Had a bad green paint job and they didnt sand the mold lines. Bought some green paint for a 03-04 Jeep. Building it as a Box Stock build for the 07 shows.

  7. Made a lil progress on the F150. Had to use some fine sandpaper to get the paint off the emblems. Used black BMF for the molding.
  8. The plastic Santa was good to me this year. I received 9 kits, a new Paasche single action external mix airbrush and a new 2 gallon compressor.   11. Here is my next project on top of all my other projects. I did a lil work to it today. Trying a few new ideas on this one. Here is what I got done today. Trying the technique of applying BMF before primer and paint. Did a lil work on the grille. Before and after pics. Let me know what you think.
  12. Just thought I would see what type of paint and clear everyone uses. I am getting an airbrush for Christmas and this will give me an idea of what I need.

  15. How do you make the seats and door panels look like leather? I want to make my upcoming build's interior look like that.
  16. Also heard of people using o-rings for airbags too.
  17. How fine a sanding stick? What polishing cloth? I just want to use the right stuff and not mess up a build.

  19. Hey Steve and others. What do you use to polish your BMF below the primer and paint? I want to try this on my next build. I know I can't find the stuff thats in Germany around here.

  22. My Mom got my a compressor at WalMart tonight. 1 gallon for $68.00. I will pick up a moisture trap tomorrow or Monday. Now to get my Christmas present open and start practicing. LOL.
