  1. And it goes on. Here is another small, but important part, it comes also from the Chuck Wagon kit... http://www.showrods.com/showrod_pages/chuck_wagon.html ... mounted on the tip of the tube... ... and garnished with a little color...
  2. Thank you all very much for the kind comments, I really do appreciate them! This, I started to do out of necessity, because where I live, there is not even the model kits that I want, because it lacks the great demand and the model building is dying out... ... so I began to exploit other opportunities... Hmm, I no longer believe, ever to get this kit, so...
  3. Tom Daniel, 1971, ~1/32 The Hemi-Semi knows how to deliver the goods on time, no matter what it takes. A hot rod semi-truck? It could happen, Hemi Semi, the name has a ring to it. Again, the deal here was to add more Snap Tite (no glue), kits for beginning modelers and this was part of that group of kits designed in "action" poses... Boxstock from the 2001 reissue, built in between, with just a little color ... Hope, you like it...
  4. Thank you all very much for the kind comments, I really do appreciate them! And it goes on. I mount the pipe cleaner first, let the pictures speak... Well, to install the stove pipe was more difficult, than I thought... ... a little color and mounted, the lower part is simply... ... but, the hole in the roof is too small for the ribbed section of the stove pipe... Thus, I had to fix the second part of the tube, coat the pipe cleaner, together with the roof and the house, and the house fix with the base, at the same time...
  5. That the oven makes some sense, there must be installed a chimney pipe... I've tried a few things, but just this, looked good... ... plastic drinking straws! Whatever the reason, all of these I had at home, ripped when I turned around a little bit... ... only the yellow remained flexible, two pieces are needed for this project, along with a "pipe cleaner"... ... cut to the required length... The idea is, if I will bend the tubes in desired directions and angles, that the tubes remain stable through the pipe cleaner... I slots now the ends of the tubes... ...that I want to connect with each other... ... now it still needs a little color...
  6. A very convincing concept and it looks fabulous, great build!
  7. Come on, Gary, a model? I do not know where you've photographed it, but it look BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH real! This is an absolutely convincing work, my friend, hat off!
  8. Why not? Great implementation and it looks good!
  9. Very nice truck, great details, i like it!
  10. Very nice concepts, wonderfully implemented! Those were my thoughts!
  11. One can only wonder now, why this did not exist in real life... An absolutely great concept and execution, hat off!
  12. An absolutely fantastic executed build, i love it!
  13. Thank you very much! The front light, or rather, the lantern, this part is of the Ricksha kit... http://www.showrods.com/showrod_pages/ricksha.html ... and as a complete, new part, the front lighting... Hope, you like it.
  14. This is one of my favorite cars with this paint scheme and you built it very nice!
  15. Great looking build and great color choice!
  16. Very nice and clean!
  17. My wife gives me her discarded jewelry and I'm glad... ... because I can continue to use it... ... though, in another sense... ... or only, partially ... This end of a necklace is perfect as holder of the lantern... ... that, I now glued to the top of the holder:
  18. Thank you all very much for the kind comments, I really do appreciate them! And it goes on. The front light... I have previously cut from the second earring, this part: The back side of the support is hollow... ... but I would like, it seems a bit more stable... ... so, I fill it out with white glue... ... and when it is completely dry, I dip it in paint and it will look good...
  19. Thank you very much! This is from a colander, it is made of aluminum... From a small piece of it, I cut out a round one... I have a few marbles in different diameters. I can now rounding the part, through push the part with this marble and my fingers... So it looks finished and mounted... ... and so the whole... Hope, you like it.
  20. I have trouble with these kits to mount the eight exhaust pipes, all right, and in row, also, if I all, first mount to the small plates and then to the engine... Especially not enough for me, is this little hump, which is intended for bonding... So, to make this easier and better for me, I have done the following steps: Especially now I can plug in each individual, twist, turn and set it in the desired angle without it drops immediately... Hope, you like it and tis tip helps.
  21. Now I devote a little time to adjust the exhaust pipes. These kits have eight individual exhaust pipes for the engine, but no end openings... First, open up, or rather, I cleen out the Ends... Here are all with the open and matt black painted Ends...
  22. Thank you very much! And it goes on. I find, that the wheelbase of the rear axle, is too close to the exhaust pipes. I extended the drive shaft, so I moved it back about 5 mm... So it looks now... Hope, you like it.
  23. So they look, in my opinion, correctly... ... the completed, new wheels... This are now, with a little color, the finished wheels with wooden spokes, to preserve the Gypsy Wagon- style... Hope, you like it.
  24. Thank you! And it goes on. For my new rims, I chose these here, the set comes from a Diecast... ... which I then edited on the lathe... Two aluminum tubes turned out, I polished them up on front... ... and at the back, they have a larger opening... ... in which I now easily press that edited rim...
  25. Thank you very much! And it goes on, repost... I have always admired the three super rail rods drawings of John Bogosian. But one thing bothered me, somehow I never really understood the rear wheels... The size and width of the tires were my taste... ... but these lateral ridges and these tiny, little rims, yes, those who get lost in the huge tires... So, now, I will show you, how this, in my opinion, should be... These are the original tires... First, I roughly removed, the inner part. The tires are more plastic than rubber, this fact made it easier for me to process, it can be cut out much better... The tires are even much more plastic than rubber, I could even edit them on the lathe... Now they are ready for proper rims, hope, you like it so far.
