Thank you all very much for the kind comments, I really do appreciate them! I like to go new ways to get better methods, to find new materials and manufacture so cheaper my tires. Here I have tried to make the front ones from a piece of a hose. The important thing is, the hose should be made of rubber and may have no lichen or wall reinforcement. This hose has the name Perbunan®, is not very expensive and is easy to edit. The inner tube diameter is chosen so, that it no longer needs to be processed. But he should be about one millimeter smaller than the outside diameter of the rim, for a better hold. These back rubbers are of a handlebar grip for bicycles. With a little editing and mounted on my homemade wheels, the whole thing looks like this:

Thank you all very much for the kind comments, I really do appreciate them! Well, I do not know it too... I thought, they look now, even better... ... but you're right, Bruce, when I look longer, the less I like them. Maybe I will change it...

Absolutely perfect, one of the best versions I've seen so far!

This is my fendered, Tom Daniels Ice T, hence the word play of the naming (Defender)... The modifications: Fenders, ...top chop, ...tailgate closed, ...wired motor, ...exhaust system and exhaust tips, ...front and rear lights, ...two single seats, ...shifter, ...dashboard, ...wheels with machined and polished aluminum sleeves, ...front gums are made of an NBR laboratory tubing, the back rubbers are carved of a bicycle handlebar grip... Hope, you like it.

Thank you! The project is not finished yet, I still build a diorama, but the vehicle as such, it is complete, I've done it in the finished section. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97562

Li'l Gypsy Wagon Showrod Rail for Wandering in a Hurry •Original year: 1972 •Company: AMT •Scale: 1/25 •Designer: John Bogosian "Out-of-Sight" injected V-8 engine, plated chopper forks, vinyl tires, plated lantern headlight, plated cycle-type front wheels, "Transylvania team room" body, "skull" shifter, "keg" fuel tank, fiddle, gypsy camping accessories, crystal ball. This one has one of the best examples of box art you'll ever see and that has always attracted me magically... I have tried for years, to get hold of one of those things, of course, in order to build it! ... unfortunately without success, most were already gone, or the deals blew up to much my Budget... As it happens in life, you often see the trees, but not the forest... So, I decided to build my own: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=94877 The project is not finished yet, I still build a diorama, but the vehicle as such, it is complete, here are the Pictures: Hope, you like it.

And it goes on. I was often asked if I steal my children their toys... ... You can be assured, my kids do not miss their toys, these are all my own... I order these parts on ebay, there are some cool vendors who take their cause seriously, and with whom I like to do business. The only disturbing thing is, the time it is applied to search, Things that you know exactly how they should look, and that they are also available... ... but just then, they are nowhere to be found... Just like these three things for the planned dio... ... it has taken an eternity to find this, and again as long to keep it in the hands... I've started primarily to paint the barrel from the Beer Wagon kit... There is still much to do...

Hmm, this could be interpreted, Dave, it would be certainly another possibility...

Thank you all very much for the nice words, I really do appreciate them! You're welcome, Harold, I am happy if my tips helps someone!

Thank you, Joe! Not so fast, first comes a little color... ... and now it comes to its final place... Hope, you like it.

Thank you, Dave, glad you like it... Well, yes, the flower pot, I could quickly make it on the lathe... ... but, where is the fun factor? Here's a possibility if you have no lathe on Hand... The hat loses his sun protection... This is an inner rim, i do not remember from which kit... I need only this ring... ... and with a little adjustment, it fits... ... and here is a small compilation of all parts... Hope, you like it,

Thank you very much! Well, such a build retreat to the length... ... and never seem to be ready... ... but, where is the fun factor? Sometimes, much more fun are the heavy paths and the journey is the destination... Green = Leek, comes from a PLAYMOBIL®- set Rosy = Flower, comes from another PLAYMOBIL®- set Yellow = Hat, comes from a Kinder Egg- Gimmick figure White = a piece of polystyrene I let the pictures speak...

Thank you all very much for the nice words, I really do appreciate them! And it goes on. I tried first, to connect this holder with a superglue, but, it always broke down again... Then I have it stuck with a two-part adhesive, after two days in this position: ... now it holds and with a little paint over it... Hope, you like it.

Thank you very much! In the beginning, I wanted to use the original fuel tank, but I do not like it more... ... the one from the Beer Wagon kit fits in my opinion much better... http://www.showrods.com/showrod_pages/beer_wagon.html ... and mounted to its new destination... Hope, you like it.
