Awesome job JT!.... But what's with everyone using kitty litter?.... Someone should be original and use some small rock or stone found in the model railroad section of your hobby shop...or maybe some fish aquarium stone from Pet depot or Pets Mart..... Just a thought...lol

Well.... You would never know that there are more important issues in the world......every time you turn the tv on, someone is talking about defeated footballs... It's getting rather old and sickening!.... It's done and over with... People just need to move on! All I have to say is ..... "let's bring that trophy back to New England boys!".... Go Patriots!

There are a lot of arm chair critics like Harry on this subject....... It just amazes me on how quick everyone is acting like the Pats committed a murder or something. Nobody knows the REAL facts on the situation..... not even the league but....everyone is quick to throw them under the bus or hang them so to speak. Get over it people!.... The Pats could have beat the Colts without Brady even being on the field!. They dominated all aspects of the game!... Mainly the running game..... Like I said before.... "Haters are gonna hate".... Lmao!

Oh.... Christopher the paint I used on the truck is Alclad gloss black then several light coats of Testors multi glitter clear..... Then toped off with 2 part automotive urethane clear. Wanted to give the truck a little twist rather than just plain old gloss black that you see all the time.

I forgot to mention a few key aftermarket parts that I used on this build like some of my others...... Plano model products for the oval mesh stainless screen that is in the front bumper as well as Rhino truck products...aluminum stacks... Ryan makes great looking stacks!

Thanks for the kind words guys!...Jim... the front axle in this kit is a one piece design...the spindles are molded right on the axle, like the AMT kits are. here is a few picks of how I modified mine to be functional. I cut the spindles off the axle.....then used some small Evergreen styrene tubing and glued one to each end of the axle....then the others to the back side of the spindles, then put a pin down through the center so it will swivel. I then cut some small sq. styrene rod and 45 deg. cut , then glued that to the backing plate. Then glued two small pieces of the small styrene tube to the ends of that for the tie rod to connect to. Very simple......and does not take away from the looks of the kit parts.

Thanks guys..... I did a few things different with the kit. Its to bad it doesnt have an engine, but I did modify the front axle and made it steerable

Hey guys, here's a neat idea that I did quite awhile ago to my trailer builds....I use 3M Brand reflective tape cut into strips....peel the backing off and stick them on...simple idea and adds realism to your builds ..... here it is applied to my lowboy build from awhile ago.
