  1. Ok, I've cleaned three or four bodies in the purple pond (and it's not purple any more!) and there is a layer of paint gunk on the bottom. I think it's time to clean/re-cycle, or , dump. Which is the best option and how do I go about doing it?
  2. I think it looks great, axle included. Display it proudly.
  3. Very cool.
  4. Anthony, nice build. With the tips you've been given here and the quality of your work as it exists, you are well on your way to doing some great work, so get busy!
  5. Thats the nicest paint job I've seen looking on this forum today! What kind of primer if any did you use?

    1948 Ford

    Very nice build!
  7. Nice job Duane. Colors and paint job are superb! I love '57 Fords, so did America in 1957, actually out sold the Chevy's that year believe it ,or, not.
  8. Way cool! You used your imagination. Thanks for sharing these photos, I've really enjoyed looking at your creation!
  9. Nice build James. Your choices of colors work really well. I've been trying to complete a 'quick' build for about six weeks now, lol. I've actually got 'two' cars I'm half way done with. My next build is going to be a Lamborghini Diablo VT, hopefully it looks as good as your Ferrari!
  10. Beautiful car! Colors are awsome together!
  11. I like it so far. Don't know anything about the car though, looks cool.
  12. Nice looking car!
  13. This thread is a great idea. My paint booth is the great outdoors so I can't add anything but I hope more people do.
  14. I have lung problems anyway so coating my lungs with fine styrene particles is probably not a good idea, I got a mask today! I know it's probably not alot but even a little for me is not good. Thanks for all the posts! Keep building!
  15. Thanks you guys, sounds good to me. I'll be getting some new masks tonight or tomorrow. 'cause I can't stop building!
  16. As I've been prepping parts for a build the last few weeks, while sanding/filing I've been thinking that I've got to be breathing in some styrene and this can't be good. So I've been thinking of wearing a mask. Am I over-reacting? Or is my concern valid?
  17. There was a funny car of a Mercury Cyclone ('Don Nichols?) when I was like 12 or so that will be in my head forever. I found a kit on ebay for $140.00! It's listed under 'AMT Mercury Cyclone funny car' not sure how to post the pic here, way cool though.
  18. Warm water from the tap here, never had a problem. When I was a kid I thought it was exciting to put spray cans in the barrel when we burned our trash.
  19. Awsome car! Very, Very cool! Great job Ken. Looks real to me. The color scheme and paint job are stunning.
  20. Thanks to this thread I now have a '70 Superbird in the freezer!
  21. Great work, maybe someday I'll be able to do these kinds of mods, thanks for posting. Hello from Kansas!
  22. I've been thinking about getting one of these kits, so I'll be watching closely. I rode in a built up 1:1 Falcon Futura like this once (worked up Hi-po 289) , wicked ride.
  23. Very cool build. Go baby Go!
  24. I like what you've done so far, very informative for me.
  25. Really nice work so far, will be following this build as I have a '71 Duster partially built.
