New year new W.I.P. im not a big fan of AMT kits but looking at my stash this one caught my eye so why not give it a try. looking at the contents I already dont like the way that the A pillar and the windshield is all one piece but other than that seems ok, just your bit of normal flash clean up. Hopefully the fit and finish wont be so bad. Im planning just a box stock build not sure on what color ill be using on the body yet, but im planning on a tan and black interior. Now to start gluing and cleaning the parts to get the engine ready for paint.

This one I just finished, I started it over a year ago. It's box stock ecxept for the wheels. The paint is tamiya with 2k clear. I wished i would have lower the front end a bit but other than that I am very satisfied with it.

Is defenitely the coolest AMX i've seen!

Here is my 2nd finished build of the year. It was a glue bomb so I figured why not try my hand at making a rusty build.
-
Wow! That's really nice!

Finally got back on the bench and finished this one.

GREAT LOOKING MODEL! those wheels really set it off.

I've been working on this one pretty steadely. I sprayed some color on the wheels and brakesAlso started spraying the second color on the interior while still figuring out more of the roll cage. Here is a quick mock up pic. Thanks for looking!

Small update. I casted the rear rotors from a Enzo ferrari kit, altough not perfect they will hardly be seen behind the wheels i'll be using. Im using the wheels from one of the Revell Civic kits painted a dark bronze color. I also started on the roll cage and so far it's taking me longer than i tought but it's a learning process.

Here is my new wip. A Tamiya AE-92 (levin) I bought this kit around 18 years ago and is time to build it. Im glad there is no expiration dates on this kits. Here are some picks For color Im going with red and maybe some dark copper wheels.for the interior maybe gray n black or red n black Im going to try to make a roll cage for it and also put some details in the door panels all doe they wont be visible when completed. I bought some blue stuff and try casting the window cranks, hopefully I'll be able to clean them up without breaking them.

Thank you! The last time I built a Lindberg kit was in the mid 90's and they were 1/18 scale I remember a mitsubishi 3000 gt a toyota pick up truck and a nissan pick up truck, they were fun to build and I liked they were 1/18 scale I don't know how acurate they were doe. This was not a bad kit I will defenitely pick another one up. Thank you! Thank you!

Well I can call this one done! everything went smoothly until at the very end altough I test fitted everything nothing seem to want to stay on correctly. I had to break the hinges of the hood, the windshield kept popping out of place and the front bumper would no longer go on straight. I really like the kit and the detail on everything is really good, now that I am aware of some things I just wrote some notes on the instruction sheets and will defenitely try making another one ( not stock). Thanks for looking.

Thank you! Yea I remember seeing the uptown kit but it never really caught my attention. Thank you! I bought the embossing powder at Pat Catan's crafts store ( Im sure Michael's and other crafts stores carry it) they come in all colors but I just buy the white one apply it and just spray it whatever color, it takes paint well. I apply it with craft acrylics and it sticks pretty good for me. Thank's!

I completed the chassis, just have to put the brace that goes in the center of the chassis. Also put some embossing powder to simulate carpet and finished the interior. And last I also sprayed the base coat applied the decals and sealed it all with clear coat. Thank;s for looking.

Well here is my first built of the year. Started it a couple of weeks ago. Started with the engine, just using generic crafts paints. Also started on the chassis. Also started painting some interior parts with more generic craft paints. I also did most of the body work. It had some mino rdimples on both front fenders, the rear quarter panels and spoiler and rear bumper. The only complaint I have about the body was that the B pillar didn't have the body line that follows beetween the front and back door. So I applied some tape as a guide and continued the body line up to where it should have been. I also picked the color I will be using for the body. Some dollar store nail polish that cought my eye.

Thank you! Thanks! I always re scribe the body lines before spraying the primer, it gives it some depth. Thank you! Thank you! the gas cap was just some bmf and then the white paint and the red and black on the flags. I don't know when the kit was reissued, this was part of a 5 corvette kits in one box from the late 80's or early 90S I believe Thank you! Thank you. Yes they are the kit wheels, just used some tires from my parts box. The stock tires didn't look right . Thank you. Thank you.

This was just a straight out of box build, just glue and paint added. I finished it last month but due to some computer issues I hadn't post it. It's far from perfect but a fun build with minimal fitting issues. Thank's for looking!
