  1. the kit number is 8319, its the amt/ertl 57 street machine version. Alot of people didnt like the kit because supposedly it wasnt accurate, but its got alot of detail, and its way fun to build. the wheels are from the revell camaro kit, and the tires are from the tamiya F50
  2. I know some of you are tired of 57 Chevys but this has a Triangulated 4 link and an LS9.

Its 2 of the late issue amt 57 chevy combined into 1 to make it the right lenth, and the trim is off the Franklin mint 57 Bonneville. And lots of putty and swearing. I found more pics.

It took awhile to build it, but it was on my bucket list.

  13. since your talking about the 57 Pontiac, I have a few questions. How hard is it to work with, like opening the doors, and trunk. I've bid on 2 diecasts, and lost them both. I need to build my hotrod, and at this point in time I'm thimkimg about modifying a amt 57 chev to look like it.
  14. thanks for all your help, it measures out to about 1/22 scale. Maybe a hot rod merc, or a pro touring merc.
  15. I want to build an old Pontiac. I purchased a Jada 40 Pontiac on ebay, and now I look at it, it seems so much bigger then a 1/24 or 1/25 scale kit. is anyone aware of how accurate the Jada models are.
  16. I have purchased alot of kits on ebay, But I understand that your not interested in doing this. You might want to use it as a price guide. USPS flat rate shipping boxes are the best way to go, the boxes are free, and you can pay for and print shipping labels from home. I'd love to see the list. I hope this helps.
  17. Cool freakin beans. I built the 48 Aerosedan, great kit, one of the best. I hope its the 41. Time to start scrounging part for a nice rat. Now I just need to find a 57 Pontiac.
  18. I vaguely remember Woolworths advertising layaway, and a local chain in SLC called Grand Central advertising it. ###### I'm old.
