  1. My understanding is the AMT KW Challenge mixer mold was destroyed as was the W900's molds. The W900 mold was retooled to make the incorrect T600. The crusieliner was reissued about 5 yr ago. As for me I would like to see some new trucks and trailers about a Mack Granite or modern lowboy? I suggested to Stevens at the NNL east show that some newer trucks models would most likely be a hit. To keep cost down I suggested that maybe a guilder style kit that the modeler could then finish any way they wanted.
  2. Dame you are getting all the details in there. Nice work

  4. It is coming along nicely.
  5. Thanks KJ that sounds simple enough
  6. I really like that details I would love to know how you made the atlas and Overdrive magazine. The KW decal on the floor mats is a very nice touch KJ. I hope you can make our show in April.

  9. You are off to a great start.
  10. KJ the truck you are basing this on wouldn't be Tom Avery's old W-900L ? You are going a great job I hope to see it in person one day.
  11. Played around with this monster tonight. I have the gold BMF band. The front tires are mounted and the cab is mocked up. Now I have a pile of small parts that need cleaning and then Alcad.
  12. Thank you guys. Jim can you email more about the SCBA's?

  14. I found some time and have the ladders into there top coat of aluminum. I have about 30 hrs into cleaning sanding, filling and priming these things. > I have the cab trim painted I just need to add the gold BMF trim that separates the black and red. The last two pictures are the interior built up and the front bumper completed. I used pins to represent the bolts.
  15. Thank you guys Adam I see what you mean I had to modify that area for the pin. I am leaning with the fact that the turntable and ladders will be stationary. They seems to be to fragile to make them move.
  16. David I am using Model Master classic black and Testors dark red. Thank you
  17. That is coming together really nice. Don't forget the KW emblem that sits behide the fender on the chrome plate.
  18. I hope to get a chance to work on the ladders this coming weekend. I think just a little more sanding and a re prime and I hope that they are already for the a color coat.
  19. WOW this is a awesome build.
