  1. The revell "can do" wrecker has tri-axle frame rails. They can be found for reasonable prices. It is only a tandem drive with a tag axle.
  2. Where did you get that drop axle setup? The detail on it is outstanding! The whole build is very nice
  3. Does anyone kit any model dodge pickup 1968-71? Resin or styrene
  4. Prolly just has a newer high/low range transmission swapped into it. If it has a cummins in it Id bet it was a whole drive train swap.
  5. Looks good so far. I started a 359 Cali hauler a while back with almost the same color scheme.
  6. Nobody interested in the Marmon? That's what I'd like to get my hands on.
  7. He says of course it's orange cause JT does near about all his trucks orange. And they call them ant eaters cause they were the first aerodynamic truck and people thought they looked goofy like an anteater long slender nose. Good lookin truck JT I have one in the box planning a big 110" ICT sleeper and makin it a bed bugger setup. You have the Allied fleet. I'll have to do Bekins or United
  8. Thanks I'm gonna take a pic with it in the sun it really pops!
  9. The inspiration for the colors came from a friend of my dad he has an 07' 379 white with red fenders and blue top. He named the truck ol' glory.
  10. Thanks. I'm debating usin this AMT fruehauf or a moebius 53' refer
  11. Started with a Revell snapW9 stretched and reienforced the frame. Added the wrecker body from the Will-Do reissue Scratch built visor and front bumper. Tamiya purple and candy lime green. Wantin to find a way to adapt some Incredible HULK logos for it but don't have the graphic knowledge for that.
  12. Ok think I've got the picture thing figured out. Just a few pics of mock up
  13. Well havin a hard time with uploading pics I'll try again later
  14. Started this a while ago just got around to posting. Started with the revell 359 wrecker used the tractor frame. Used the 36" flat top from the snap 359. Front wheels from the revell w9. Scratch built headache rack.
  15. If it was my truck I'd straighten the tank mount out before taking a hammer to the cab!
  16. Just remember if its got a mack motor trans and rears its a "pure breed" should have gold bulldog hood emblem. Vs a chrome bulldog
  17. Bridgstone 726s are the best lug drive you can buy! I'd buy a lot of them. Cast it they will sell!
  18. Tough lookin truck. I sure wouldn't want to be behind it on any sort of grade with that N/A Cummins. Driver would be in the basement in a hurry
  19. Only thing I can say is wow very nice I just think that front bumper is way to nice to be on a mixer. Were did you get the front axle and front tires?
  20. I honestly doubt any of it does. Maybe one of the ships or a plane bc there ain't enough aircraft or ship models is there?! (Serious sarcasm if you couldn't tell) I would love to see a truck of 2000 or newer and a trailer that is post Dayton wheels!
  21. Looks good only thing I see out of place is dual exhaust on a bare bones company truck. Let alone even straight pipes.
  22. Where is there more info on these kits? I've looked on the drakeshop.com but can only find 1:50 scale diecast stuff.
  23. Hobby lobby has 1/8" ribbon in multiple colors including a spot on yellow. It scales to 3.125" which is pretty close to a 4" strap. I use that paint one end black and fold it over with a lil super glue so it retains its shape. Then use a piece of small styrene rod as a winch. Best part is a 18ft roll is $1.99
