  1. I like first of the year LOL, between the shop and reroofing my house Im a spectator in a time frame that short.
  2. I was judging my statement based of market share and projected sales $$$$, I get that you passionate about them and thats great, just explaining my post is all.
  3. Im only 35 and Linda Vaughn was far from the hottest one IMO
  4. agreed that the 1:1 tuner scene is die'n, whats left seems to have gravitated to the drift world. Most of the guys I know that are into imports would rather have classic muscle but the money isnt there for it so I suspect if they were into plastic thats where the interest would go. Man I miss the NOPI girls
  5. how bout if you guys are interested post up what you want to do in a numbered order and how long it should go on for?
  6. Im still up for it but it seemed every Idea had just as many detractors. I like the idea of keeping it simple cheap and quick as it seems many just drop out or drag out forever, I do like the replica idea, may keep people motivated. myself included.
  7. I like it a lot better, IMO they will never top the FD rx-7's, now that was a street legal race inspired car. and I dont fit in miata's
  8. thats sharp man, Im surprised at how many new nova builds Ive seen in outlawX, and ODR. Would love to see a few more pics, the motor got all blurry on me when I tried to expand it.
  9. you can put a carb on anything, no diff than putting efi on older stuff.
  10. no but Im positive the one by me still has em, the slot cars havent been moving at all, I be interested in swapping for some of the kits they didnt have here.
  11. IMO its any vehicle modified to perform better in a strait line. I know of a foxbody with no cage at all, looks like a 7 second 1/8 car, it runs mid fives.
  12. Im still interested in this, I like many of the suggestions but Id still like to do something simple as it seems whenever these get to involved almost everyone drops out. The FAST stuff is cool but it basically a box stock build. Id hate to have what those guys have in those cylinder heads, the ones on the race car cost less than half of a competitive FAST set up and flow better on a small block.
  13. cant see pics but I assume the other is a mustang with a shout out to dave.
  14. Im gain for any of the above, even the year of birth deal
  15. thats not fair to those born between 73 and 88 lol
  16. you taling about the turbonique rear end? I have an original brochure around the house somewhere, cool set up but Im not sure Id want a compressed to liquid combustable in the car with me lol
  17. was just curious if there was any interest, I know most dont seem to scroll down that far and most of those threads are very old.
  18. same here, Im in a real rut, I was at Ollies today and was thinking as cheap as they are anyone could get in on it, could be any combination of parts from any of the kits available there even if you didnt buy em there or had allready had em. Im open for anything to get me motivated though, never been a part of one before and was looking for interest, ideas, etc. etc.. the last thing I need is to start another long term deal, thinking quick and cool.
  19. Not that you need to make it anymore complex but how awesome would it be if the bug catcher was hollow and the blower top was open, Do a movable butterfly and you could see it all. this is some very impressive work, thumbs up.
  20. man I wish mine had the ramcharger car, I usually don't buy monster truck kits but I have to say that after a quick and dirty look inside the raminator I bought it looks impressive. Why are the lindberg kits so spotty on detail? this kit looks very nice and well detailed, well worth the $8 in parts for the modern single plug hemi, coolers bottles etc., this is the first kit I can ever recall having a crank brace, thank you lindberg. only real downfall is it's 1/24 scale but I think I can make it work, the crank brace and hemi look like a decent start for a clone of Enzo's car I want to do.
  21. I bought a bunch and plan on going back, I should be set on 69 camaros now, I asked if they had them in the unopened cardboard box's lol. this is in stock at my local store lindberg 37 vert, 48 linchlon, 71 mustang, 32 ford PU, tall T, model t roadster, raminator monster truck, newer charger, and 70ish dodge, dodge dakota. revell monogram 55 chevy, super bird, zo6, 69 baldwin camaro,36 ford sedan, ed mecuwin funny, hawian funny, 62 2 in 1 They had a ton of slot cars as well. Thank you OP as I never go in Ollies and would have missed em. Mine did not have the shelby or the ramcharger and strangely, no aircraft at all.
  22. Not speaking for Tyrone but the shock controllers Ive dealt with control internal valving in the shock with the electronics, they react darn near instantly to rebound and compression change settings. This was several years ago though, things may have changed.
  23. This saddens me greatly, yes I bought multiples of this kit but that attitude is one of the things that has lead to the fall of american industry. Im 35 years old and miss the days when pride in a job well done was as important as putting money in ones pocket as it deminishes the reputation in the buyers mind about the company and product.
