  1. Hi Casey, yep, those would do just fine. The shape and size seem to me to be correct and better than what I have. John....Mercy, where do those bad boys belong? Could they be from the old 383 vintage cross ram? I don't know them. Michael
  2. Hi Guys, Anyone know of a model kit source for original looking 413/426 headers? The ones that go upward from the exhaust ports, then back and down. (Please Mr. Mod, don't bite my head off again if this is the wrong place....) I have a donor kit or two from who knows what model (eBay), but they look funky. Too thin, too blocky looking and just plain poor. Anyone know of any decent ones? Thanks, Michael
  3. Those "Awful Fuel Altereds". I mean the Website of course. A super, super model. I love it. Could you give us some insight into which and what was bashed? Starting with the basic frame and body, which kit is it? Looks great! Michael
  4. Looking very good! When I think of old Fuel Dragsters, then they're supposed to look like this one. Michael
  5. Hi Gerard, I think it looks nice, especially the motor is well cabled and wired. I like the older style slicks and the front moon discs look period correct. Next to the Super Stockers, I love Gassers and Altereds. Michael
  6. Hi Tom, The model does look very nice and clean. How long are these models? I've thought about building truck models before, my space is a bit limited though. I have too many tall ships. Do you have them under glass for displaying? Good stuff! Michael
  7. I like it. I think you got the colors perfect. I hope I can do as well. Michael
  8. Hi guys, What do you experienced guys recommend for filling cracks and spaces? I've done a search here and haven't found anything of a recent nature. I've read about putting small sprue lead leftover pieces in a small glass jar and filling with Modeler's liquid glue, wait, then the thick solution can be applied. That may work, but may be unnecessarily expensive. What do you do? Thanks in advance, Michael
  9. Hi Force, the Model looks very good. I like the colors just fine. But you may have to buy us a round, because of a possible hijack, and the fact that the interior is too dark. Mopars are clean cars, Chebbies are black inside. Alright Alan, get your stuff together and get back to building. No more excuses now, because of all these pics you have your work cut out for you. Hey, if you need a new Hemi, I have a couple! Just don't think about asking where they're from. Michael
  10. I'll always look when I see a Willy's Gasser is mentioned. So cool! Yours does not disappoint. Michael
  11. Thanks Walt, I've felt often the same! You are not alone. Now I feel a lot better. May I ask please for more info about MCW (a Shop?) and what brand of paints are mentioned here? I know white is not white is not white either, but I like the white to be correct. Anyone? Alan, this is an unofficial hijack, this time. (Greetings to Fla.). Michael
  12. Of course. Sorry Alan, the last thing I want to do was to hijack your build topic. I do think somewhere along the line, like after I've finished a couple of the Lindberg Dodges I have, is to have a go at the Sox & Martin Cuda you're working on. I'll follow this topic as it progresses. Greetings, Michael
  13. @Hakan & Alan, Thanks guys. I was hoping to have found the kit it came from. The bare block shows the holes for the cylinders ,and the heads show the 4 valves as well as the rocker assembly on the top !! The later style valve covers are flatter, and are not chrome. The parts are molded in light gray. I'll keep looking around. The intakes, single 4, Cross Ram and the high tunnel ram are very well detailed, carbs look decent, too. Thanks, Michael
  14. I just received my first things from Comp Resins, excellent! The best looking American Torq Thrusts I've seen yet. Michael
  15. Hi Alan, thanks for posting about this model. I recently purchased various Mopar donor parts for my upcoming builds. One of the Hemi's has a huge old style tunnel ram intake. Now I know what kit it's from, at least I think it's the same as your motor pic. Could you please tell me if there are two possible cylinder head options in your kit? In the bag of engine parts I received, I can also use really big Hemi heads, and more modern valve covers, not the factory ones. I don't have any directions for the build. Nice looking model for sure. Michael
  16. Hi Jason, Yes I think there are fellow modelers all over the world and all levels can be found. What a great international hobby! Michael
  17. Hallo Jürgen, I'm happy to see that another fan from Germany is here. I've been thinking myself about truck models, but to do so I'd have to put my ships in the attic....so, maybe some other time. Greetings from Hessen, Michael
  18. I'm Michael and my last car model was in 1975, since then I've built Tall Ships in plastic and the last 20 years plank in plank wooden Historical Sailing Ships. Folks, I'm so old I can remember my Dad driving home in his brand new 56 Olds. Here's the scoop; My name is Michael, and I'm a Mopar addict. Always was, and always will be. I've seen them towed off the Dealer's Showroom, because Super Stock Dodges could not be driven off because single plane intakes and slow starts didn't mix well. I watched from the infield of Daytona Speedway while Richard Petty ran away with the first Hemi win three days before my birthday. I've watched Ronnie Sox battle with Dyno Don in several Match Races at AHRA dragstrips in the mid 60's. Ronnie got him every time. Mr. Martin would spread out the rosin before the start. The place was rockin'. Don Nicholson was a wonderful fighter, and his cars looked real good. I'm learning about resin stuff, and have already acquired parts from Comp Resin, MegaHobby, and an eBay Seller who had several Lindberg 64 Dodges as donors. I'll do a Dodge S/S or two for the beginning to become acquainted again, but Speed City Resin is sooo-oooon coming my way. I need some A/FX boost. I would like to learn more about present day car model building, and I'm very enthused about what all of you guys are doing!! Thanks for looking my way, and greetings, Michael
